In a random time of playing, the game crashes. I have tried reinstalling, upgrading to the latest patches. I have tried Paradise Island expansion. I have tried vanilla tropico 1.0. I have tried upgrading kernel (currently 2.6.25-r7), ati-drivers (now I have the latest one) and wine. I have tried it with 1.0.0 and 1.1.3 for a good time. I have tried disabling audio (someone tipped me to do so), to use an iso instead of a cd (didn't work) and using an original cd. I have tried it in english and in italian. It just plays fine till it crashes for no apparent reason. I noticed that if I save and after short it crashes, it is more likely to crash in the same time (i.e. when landing a boat). I attach here two bugreport, one with audio (lasted very little time) and uno without audio (it worked around 30 minutes). My distro is Gentoo. See attached screenshots for an example. Also attached is the +d3d_surface log, which appears to have some interesting fixme messages.
