Could someone retest this on 1.1.33? I wasn't able to install it somewhere
after 1.1.30...

Hi, Rihards.
Is there a demo available? I want to test it myself.

Last mentioned problem about arrows appearance is fixed now by commit
eaee84f4dbf086fe185532a59f879690fec5a5a9.
I'm marking this resolved, please open separate bug for any other problem.

Summary: Office 2007 uses only one core
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P1
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: lcademartiri(a)gmwgroup.harvard.edu
I am using Crossover Linux 8.0 and I have installed Microsoft Office 2007 - it
works like a charm, with the exception of a few quirks. I am running Ubuntu
Karmic, with KDE.
What I noticed is that office 2007 runs on only one core, making it very slow.
I noticed also that Windows Xp instead used to run on both cores.
It would greatly improve the experience if the software could use all the
computing power

That sounds about right.
Here's a debug dump from the demo version, which behaves like the real version
[0] in non-debug-mode (except for the part about the CD spinning up, of
course). The file size is 2.2 MB.

[0] That is, the program starts, the X resolution changes, and the program
crashes.

It may interfere with copy protection (if that's why the cd normally spins up).
