I have a program, for making map images (graphics-intensive). After few minutes (2-6) of generating images it hangs with such output: err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x7bc917a8 "exception.c: vectored_handlers_section" wait timed out in thread 001b, blocked by 001c, retrying (60 sec) err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x7ec93be0 "gdiobj.c: GDI_level" wait timed out in thread 001d, blocked by 001b, retrying (60 sec) then after approx 1 minute it finishes. This didn't happen in Windows XP. There's a screenshot of this in the screenshot gallery of the game: http://appdb.winehq.org/appimage.php?iId=12288 I think this happened on Vista though I can't confirm that at the moment, but it definitely worked fine on XP. If you are able to close the session and reopen it again, the system comes back to normality. It seems that it is not able to come back from a resolution 1024x780 to 1280x1024 and it becomes crazy.
