Summary: The car shadows appear red and blocky.
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.1
Platform: PC
URL: http://flatout2.sierra.com/us/
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: fruitiex(a)gmail.com
It seems that the map is split into a grid, and the squares of the grid that
are affected by shadows are rendered with a red shade. When the shadow moves
forward so much that it would touch the next square, that square gets filled
with red immediately, so the squares sort of "jump" forward.
This is a screenshot from the AppDB:
http://appdb.winehq.org/appimage.php?iId=18818
And a demo version can be found here:
http://www.gamershell.com/download_16702.shtml
This is the only, and so far most severe bug I've found in the game running in
Wine, it's quite annoying! It would be good enough if there was a way to
disable the shadows!

This program is made by Zoner Context Designer - as many programs (electronic
books) in Czech Republic. All of them have a problem you can see on the
attached picture. The program work, but there are 2 windows - one above
another. I can take the first one by mouse and give aside - this is the
situation on the picture - but when I release it, I can see only the blank
window. This malfunctioning is from version 1. Before it worked well.

Wine log
The original CD is not recognized when launching EGU.
I switched the "windows version" (on Wine config) from windows xp to windows 98
(otherwise I get the error message "unimplemented function
ntoskrnl.exe.IoGetDeviceProperty"), but I cannot bypass this error :
"Wrong disk inserted. Please insert the original disk into your CD/DVD drive"
It is displayed by wine, on a message box.
Wine log is attached.

Mr. Robot's main graphics fail to render in horrendous ways - some things
render without textures (e.g. white blocky things), others render completely
transparently without textures.
Wine keeps spitting the following:

glPointSize(...); @ state.c / 1457

wine console output while running the game
Running this game is to slow to play. I have decent graphics card and i can
play this game on my win xp instalation wthouth issues.
But in wine everything works ok, but when i enter the game its too slow to do
anything ( around 0.5 - 1 fps), and i need couple of minutes to exit game
because game slows down UI. When i'm in the main game menu, speed is ok
i will attach errors that wine spits out.

See, for example, the type format string for ept_insert()'s 'entries' parameter
in dlls/rpcrt4/epm_c.c . The size of this array is the 'num_ents' parameter,
so the offset in the conformace discription should be 4 not 0 (which is
currently hardcoded). Also the lower nibble of the type byte should be
FC_ULONG rather than 0.
