Installation completes successfully but all I get after trying to run the app is: $ wine Program\ Files/Microsoft\ Office/Office12/PPTVIEW.EXE fixme:heap:HeapSetInformation 0x110000 1 (nil) 0 $ Btw, English language version (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=048…, size 27024112, MD5 sum 9b4b476488674ae103d2e97cd88cd222) works fine. It is said that I need the Compatibility pack(which does not make sense, because this small app is expecially for this file-format and btw. it is not needed at Windows XP), so I installed it(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=941B3470-3AE9-4… without an issue. But it again wants this pack to be installed... .ppt-files run fine(tested a lot from different office-versions). The profile window opens, but when I try to continue, the program suddenly quits without any indication of the cause.
