Summary: Wine does not support genitive forms of month names
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.21
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: tarasov.igor(a)gmail.com
MSDN: "Some languages, such as Finnish, German, Polish, and Russian, have
several noun forms. If you plan to use localized names provided by the system,
have a linguist check to make sure you are using them in the right context.
Windows carries both the nominative and genitive forms of Polish and Russian
month names; the form changes depending on the month name's position in the
string relative to the day name. Windows returns both forms in a single string
separated by a null value. The system carries only one form of each month name
or day name for all other languages."
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc194815.aspx
Wine ships only nominative forms for these languages. So, applications that
rely on this, render dates not as "14 мая 2009", but as "14 Май 2009".
Side note: first letter in genitive form is lower-case, as opposed to to
upper-case for nominative form.

Summary: The program FlatOut2.exe has encountered serious

When I updated from 1.1.18 to 1.1.20 a new minor bug appeared. It still exists
in 1.1.21.
When I start FlatOut 2 it says "The program FlatOut2.exe has encountered
serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. But
when I click "Close" the game starts and everything is working perfectly.
This error seems to be a false alarm. Wine thinks the game crashed, but really
it didn't.

I'm using Wine 1.1.19 (compiled from source using gcc version 4.3.2 20081105
(Red Hat 4.3.2-7) ) on Fedora 10 i386.
The problem is that after i set installation Type (Full, typical etc.) the
installer hangs and i have to force it to close. For example i choose Full
option then click next and i see the same window only greyed and installer is
hanging. Sometimes it doesn't hang and goes forward but this is less often
case.

Screenshot when hung
The "Talk Now! Arabic" CD, published by Transparent Language, used to work
pretty well on Wine. Now (just tested on 1.1.19, but it's been broken for a
few releases) the program loads to the point where it gives an audio greeting
and shows the graphic behind the user login screen, but then freezes. No
further text appears, an the program is unresponsive; even the "close window"
action doesn't work. (The window does redraw itself properly if I cover and
then uncover it).
One other clue is that the window-decorations are drawn much larger than the
contents (see attached screenshot).

When using the MinGW installer, you can't progress in the installer past the
page that lets you choose the installation directory.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download the installer in the URL
2. Run the installer
3. Click "Next" twice, then "I Agree", followed by "Next" twice more.
Expected results:
You should be able to choose or type a destination directory, and the "Next"
button should become enabled.
Actual results:
The "Next" button remains disabled, so you can't install anything. See the
screenshot.
The entire console output is:
fixme:wininet:INET_QueryOption INTERNET_OPTION_CONNECTED_STATE: semi-stub
fixme:shell:SHAutoComplete SHAutoComplete stub
