Summary: Warblade Demo: crashes on startup, maybe regression

console output of the crash
When I try to start the Warblade Demo in either DirectX or OpenGL mode it
crashed right after the selection. The AppDB page tells nothing about crashes,
only about corrupted sound and slow graphics, so this may be a regression but I
cannot confirm that as it never worked on my machine.
I'm testing on Ubuntu 8.04 x86_64 with kernel 2.6.24-17-generic and using
wine-0.9.61 from wine.budgetdedicated.com repository.

Summary: Guitar Pro freezes with own GDIPLUS.DLL, renders
incorrectly with Wine's
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.15
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gdiplus
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: fallenblood(a)gmail.com
When started, Guitar Pro 5.2 spits out an access violation error message in
French about gdiplus.dll and freezes.
GP5 comes with its own gdiplus.dll, though, so if I remove it, the application
starts with Wine's own gdiplus, but it renders stuff incorrectly - symbols are
displaced and there is no font smoothing.
The freeze after playback issue (bug 17001) is still there.

In almost all the controls in Wine, there are a missing pixel in the corners
that maybe it's a little detail, but it can make a huge difference in how the
applications looks. You can check the issue on the attached screenshots. (If
you don't see the problem you just have to zoom in the image.)

WINE's terminal output without any additional debug traces
After starting new game in Giants: Citizen Kabuto Reaper demo v.1.0 (using all
of the default graphics settings) water and sky is rendered correctly, ocean
and lakes are bluish, and on the sky you can see clouds. When the first enemies
(rippers) appear and you shoot them using long distance weapons they blow up
and generally (but not always) in the same time clouds and water dissapear. The
sky becomes composed of one colour, and water is fully transparent, you can
only hear you stepped into it.
I made two movies presenting it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phxwD4CGavU - in reaper demo.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8X6BngX__o - in mecc demo.
