MS Equation Editor 3.0 in Wine 1.1.23, fc10.
I have Wine 1.1.23 installed on fc10. I installed MSWord 2000 and tried to run
Equation Editor 3.0. MSWord ran well. EqnEd gave the error message documented
above. Many Object types from the Insert Object menu also failed. Following
this thread I set Wine to use the native usp10.dll and replaced the Wine
ole32.dll.so with the Crossover ole32.dll.so. After this EqnEd worked well. I
also installed Crossover 8.0; EqnEd worked terribly in this environment,
possibly because I put it in a Win98 bottle.

I have installed Crossover 8.0 (root install), and then installed Office 2003
in a clean user profile in F10 - the equation editor works flawlessly in this
environment for me.
Have you tried Word 2003 rather than Word 2000?

Screenshot of the add files dialog
In Origin 7.0, there is an option to import multiple ASCII files. For this to
work, multiple files have to be selected in a dialog. After selection of the
files and clicking 'Add files', the dialog closes but nothing happens.
Whenever a file is clicked, a new line of
warn:gdi:GDI_GetObjPtr Invalid handle (nil)
appears in the console.

display the disk label (shown empty) and serial number (always 0) any more.
wine cmd dir d: still lists the CD-ROM label and serial number.

After creation of a ListView with the LVS_OWNERDRAWFIXED style parent window
should receive the WM_MEASUREITEM message.
It can be succesfully forced by sending WM_WINDOWPOSCHANGED, however LV should
be invalidated after getting this message.
