(no need to install video sequences) X crashes.
A regression test gave me this:

commit 304ff3c7280a53b7cbadfa83eaeda458ff5959d1
Author: Aric Stewart <aric(a)codeweavers.com>
Date: Wed Aug 6 08:04:36 2008 -0500
dinput: The DIK_ keycode is not the same as the scancode.
It is mapped with the keyboard mapping to the resulting character so
the key 'A' is DIK_A nomatter what its scancode or vkey would be. This
is relevant to Japanese keymapping where the '@' key is in the '['
location the scancode for both is 0x22 but dinput generates DIK_AT in
japanese and DIK_LBRACKET in us_qwerty.

gedit can't open any italian .rc file while other .rc files can be opened

better

Summary: Several issues when attempting to use the new 'Disc
Layout Editor' in ImgBurn v2.5.0.0
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.28
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: lightning_uk(a)imgburn.com
v2.5.0.0 of ImgBurn has a new Advanced build mode interface known as the 'Disc
Layout Editor'.
Any 'rename' of an item you add/create within the listview on the right side of
that window will result in a range check error.
If you right click an entry in the treeview on the left side of that window and
select 'New Folder' it'll crash with an access violation.
If you open the window at all (as in, 'full stop' and not even doing anything
with it) and then close the program, it'll crash with an access violation.
I'm unable to reproduce any of these issues on any real installation of Windows
(from Windows 95 -> Windows 7) so I can only assume it's something in Wine
(sorry!).

Summary: Settlers4: fatal error at startup
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: s.devrieze(a)gmail.com
Settlers4 does not work anymore since Wine 1.1.27. It crashes at game startup.
Output log in attachment.
Downgrading to Wine 1.1.26 solves the issue. Hence, there is a regression
between 1.1.26 and 1.1.27.

No updates (though it's not a winsock bug, so I'm changing the component.)

Using Wine 1.1.27, I saw in a +winsock log that it's trying to listen on port
950 instead of 77, so I suspect this may be working. Could you try with Wine
1.1.28 or later?
