I think it`s a wine bug. Actually the dlls are dplay, dplayx,dpnaddr,dpnet,dpnhpast,dpnlobby and dpwsockx. With these dlls and the DUNE2000.DAT, Multiplayer Lobby works but hangs at (60sec) sync. It first appears exactly as Julian Rüger described it. However when using native dinput and dinput8 DLLs, it only served to completely disable both the keyboard and mouse. When the button or menu item is clicked on, the program seems like it's going to do something, but doesn't. This can be seen by going to Help << About and clicking the webpage button. When this bug was opened, the "system one" was the old original OpenAL from years back. I suppose if someone wants to make a thunk dll it now would work.
