Shut application down. Start it again. Splash screen appears (eventually), splash screen disappears (eventually). Then nothing. Main window does not apppear. No 'entry' on the task bar. No amount of window maximisation/minimisation, desktop switching etc. will make the main window appear. There are tasks but they are not eating CPU (ps -f -u $USER confirms this). Starting the application a second time (in a different console window) gives: err:ole:CoUninitialize Mismatched CoUninitialize and exits. The first invocation puts up the main window (which is almost a 'shaded'). Roll this window down and the application is usable. Ther is nothing untoward in the console output of the first invocation. Note: First invocation of application after install produces a pop-up window claiming the serial number (aka licence key) cannot be found. Only after entering the appropriate number (key) does the main window appear. However, I have had 'nothing happens' behaviour after a file recovery pop-up after application crash. Installer 'requires' winetricks wsh56 but application is run without any dll overrides. winetricks corefonts are installed. Behaviour is repeatable. Backtrace attached. This occurs with Paradox 11 installed from CD with WordPerfect Office 11 (2003) and WordPerfect Office X3 (2005). Crash The first game worked flawlessly for me. The expansions give me the following error. I have attached it. This particular one is from Wild!, but I got the same error and log when I did this with Soaked. I can provide one for Soaked on request. I installed these on a clean wine 1.1.30 install, no overrides or anything. Always results in a crash 2) Use fullscreen. Since the default setting is fullscreen, you are practically blocked from starting the game. I will attach a file so you can change that. 3) Even if you use the above and to set the resolution to windowed(the game will work fine then) you can never change the resolution 4) Also, the game also exits with a crash. Using Wine, this square is always empty. Attempting to start Unity.exe (the Editor) produces a trial dialog, after clicking try the application exits.
