EAX is widely used in Windows(r) games, at least until Vista(tm), mostly as an
option but mandatory for some, like Meatl Gear Solid 2.
This would be a great improvement if there were any way to have it with wine or
page in wine's wiki with explanation why it impossible.

someone needs to improve the test suite to cover this case.
(This is part of our "test-driven development" philosophy,
it helps keep the code from being wrong at the start,
and from breaking later.)

Thanks. You can make it slightly smaller next time by starting notepad from
another terminal so that wineserver etc is already running, before running the
game with WINEDEBUG.

Could be that the dmusic stub isn't enough...
