A map tile image (top left)
Trying to run Matrix Games' redux from the original TalonSoft Campaign Series
(west front, east front and rising sun in a single package). The game have a
lot of map refresh issues. As seen on the screenshots, some tiles are not
properly paint as I move across the map.
This matches the following lines in STDERR, each times :
fixme:d3d:IWineD3DClipperImpl_SetClipList (0xad4480,(nil),0),stub!
The redraw issue seems that the tile is completely redraw even false 3DÂ edges
(as if we drop the full tile above the map, with Earth crust.) I don't know
what is wine instance malfunction is, but either :
- redrawn tile may exclude false-3D earth crust
- neighbour tile should be partially redrawn
In my screenshots I provide :
1- A single blank tile on top left (behavior here is normal as seen on
Windows)
2- A map after a upward move (see all redrawn hexes on the bottom line
features earthcrust)
3- Same game after left move
4- Same map location after map forced refresh (Should be screenshot)
The game is sale there :
http://www.matrixgames.com/products/318/details/John.Tiller%27s.Campaign.Se…
I both tried vanilla and last patch installation (1.04) experimenting the same
problem.
There is unfortunately no demo available, as far as I know, but I can provide a
game copy and license if needed.

Summary: Cursor support lost when using dual monitor
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P1
Component: opengl
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: deftal1ty(a)googlemail.com
I set up dual monitor support with a gf 7950, one widescreen 20" Samsung LCD,
and one 19" Viewsonic LCD.
The problem is that whenever I want to run Warcraft III in wine, it runs on my
19" Viewsonic which is non-default. I also lose support of the cursor if I move
on to the 19" Viewsonic which is running Warcraft III, and it isn't just
invisible - because I have tried clicking in numerous locations blindly.
I do have keyboard support If I do not click off the application - otherwise
the game dissapears but is still running in the background.
It is set up as the 20" (0) and the 19" (1), in the nvidia settings. So the 20"
should be default.

log from "konsole"
When the game starts and has played the advertising video's, the game does not
show the Menu, instead it shows the intro movie wich loops over and over, but
you hear the menu when you hit up or down arrow. So you can't start the game.
Maybe usefull information:
to even start the game I had to do this:
* 1) Type regedit in terminal
* 2) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D (if Direct3D does not
exist create it)
* 3) Add following String values
o Multisampling = Enabled
o OffscreenRenderingMode = fbo
o RenderTargetLockMode = readtex
o UseGLSL = enabled
and add msvcr80.dll into system32 + installed ageia from nvidia site.

Summary: Nostale doesn't show correctly water and shadows

When going near water in Nostale, it blinks heavily, showing what's underneath
it. It too fails to show shadows, making the character and the area either
black or invisible. This happens when in fullscreen mode. In windowed mode it
works fine.

Installation of CrazyMachines (green pepper budget version for a few EUR)
worked ok, but trying to start the application (CrazyMachines.exe) leads to an
immediate page fault (see attached log). Probably it's related to some stupid
copy protection.

Summary: Delphi app using Clever Internet Suite Version fails
HTTP Post call
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
URL: http://clevercomponents.com/products/inetsuite/suite.asp
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: jtk(a)yahoo.com
A Delphi application (specifically CortexEDI) has worked perfectly on wine up
through wine-1.1.11 (See #16847 for regression after 1.1.11).
A new version of this application uses HTTPS through Clever Internet Suite VCL
6.2. The specific point of failure, per the vendor's helpful support is an HTTP
post to check the connection to a central server for data interchange.
Relevant (I presume) sample code is here:
http://clevercomponents.com/products/inetsuite/requestbuilder.asp
Aside from the HTTPS connection check, the application continues to work
perfectly on wine. Any assistance that would allow continued compatibilty with
wine would be greatly appreciated.

Console output of "wine layout50.exe"
Sprint-Layout is a very good PCB design software.
The bug is that clicking on a trace, which is not vertical, doesn't select it.
So, this trace cannot be dragged.
Also, lots of components can't be selected and dragged, too. That makes the
program literally unusable, while in Windows working with it is very
productable.
I've attached a console output. It consists of only one error, but this error
should be the one we need.

as stated the character on teh screen will randomly go crazy. Like for example
i'm just standing there and i get my screen turning around and it won't stop if
i press a key. Also it happens that i'll just randomly start moving foreward
for no apparent reason. They'll just start running forward and keep going. no
other reason for this. Just goes forward and rotates teh screen. This is very
annoying as this happens alot and takes away A MAJOR part of the game play.
Seeing as i can't move around which is 1 thing an MMO requires you to do and
have control over.
