Backtrace from crash in Elder Scrolls Construction Kit
The Elder Scrolls Construction Kit crashes when launching, after it has loaded
the data it needs to run. The problem, based on what I saw in the backtraces,
lies in either libgl or direct3D.

Summary: Fable: The Lost Chapters - In-game graphics
laggy/slow/halting after latest WINE release
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.23
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: rampageai(a)gmail.com
The in-game graphics in Fable halt for a moment about every second making the
game practically unplayable. The game ran smoothly in version 1.1.22 with
minor graphical issues but started halting as soon as 1.1.23 was installed. I
reinstalled version 1.1.22 and the problems disappeared. I'm not sure how to
troubleshoot further (provide logs and other helpful information) so please
write any requests in the comments and how to retrieve the log files of the
game and I will provide them as needed.

Wine output
When you hit "Start", the game churns in the background a while, then blows up
with the above error in a dialog box, twice, then a cryptic "Send error
report?" and finally the classic "encountered a serious problem and needs to
close" dialog. There's a fairly sizable list of fixme's in the output
(attached). nksp.exe (appears to be the actual game binary?) never actually
quits and I have to kill it from a shell.
If it's relevant, my videocard is a Radeon HD 4850 and I'm using ATI
proprietary drivers. glxinfo reports the driver version as "2.1.8543 Release".

Summary: listview doesn't redraw the area right from the
rightmost column
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: comctl32
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: matthias.kupfer(a)informatik.tu-chemnitz.de
The problem is caused in LISTVIEW_Refresh around "if (prcErase) {". Almost all
WM_PAINT messages use NULL for prcErase, therefore the background isn't repaint
correctly, because the columns are redrawn by an iterator and the remaining
space seems to be left unattanded... An unconditional
LISTVIEW_FillBkgnd(infoPtr, hdc, clientrect); could solve the problem, but I'm
not sure, if this is an appropriate suggestion.

Summary: Wile playing DOMO, game loads, and runs, but textures
are ruined, and there is no mouse function
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P4
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: katsumishiokawa(a)hotmail.com
I just downloaded the newest version on wine earlier today, but when trying to
play DOMO, an online game, it appears to run normal while it is downloading the
files needed from the site, but when the game window comes up, most of the time
it is a black window. every couple of frames I see some o fthe textures, but
they aren't right at all. and when moving the mouse over the window, it
disappears. I am able to click on the buttons, but it takes alot of attempts
before it regesters me clicking on them, and this is also hard to do, since I
cannot see the mouse at all while it's over the game window, while the mouse
appears just fine over any other part of the screen.
Also, I could not close the game afterwards, and in trying to close it, my
computer slowed down to the point that I had to restart my computer to do
anything.
Since I'm new to this, I don't know any of the technical stuff so if any more
information is needed, just tell me where to look for it.

Summary: All sound broken in Hinterland
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.12
Platform: PC

WINEDEBUG="+dsound" log with Hinterland
I've tested this in 1.1.12 and latest GIT, as well as latest GIT + the patch
from bug 16832 (which fixes a minor crash bug).
On run, Hinterland starts and loads the company logo in the window, and then
transitions to a white screen (which I presume is supposed to be something
else, but that fails to render), at which point, horrible static-like noise
begins blaring from the speakers.
If you've applied the patch mentioned above, clicking once in the white will
load the main menu, instead of crashing. The horrible static-like noise
persists with no apparent variation. It continued to persist until I disabled
sound output in the Options menu.
Having attempted to play the game with sound enabled, there are some apparent
variations in sound once gameplay begins, and I heard the noise for buttons
being pressed once or twice when I did so.
I'll attach the WINEDEBUG="+dsound" log, but it's rather large, so I'll be
attaching it as a bz2.

wine error log
My Lineage 2 crashes when I select server and press to connect. No error
windows, nothing. It's a private server, all files updated. I think it's a bug.
but cant test it, no knowledge. Maybe files engine.dll and nwindow.dll are
causing this?
I can provide additional info if you need.
Thanks.

click any pulldown menu, for example, "File", then click on any empty space on
the screen, that menu should disappear immediately. but it not.
wine version : current git.
OS: Debian Sid
Nvidia 8500GT+180.18 driver
this problem was resolved previously,in 0.9.x,by applying the bellow patch, i
believe. i got this software works as expected at that time.
strange enough it comes into wine 1.X.XX again.
this is the old link where Roderick Colenbrander talked about it:
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-devel/2007-April/055817.html
i tried the above patch, seems not work anymore on current code.
