Summary: Mount and Blade: Warband (Steam version 1.1.26)
crashes before starting - page fault
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.1
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: farfrael(a)googlemail.com

console output
This is a game loaded through the Steam platform.
Details of the game are available http://store.steampowered.com/app/48700/
It apparently used to work fine
Distribution is Slackware 13.0
gcc version 4.3.3 (GCC)
Wine 1.3.1 manually compiled from source (i.e. not a package)
GFX card is GeForce 9600 GT with 512mb ram
Using Nvidia binary drivers 256.44
Steam launches fine but when trying to play the game, the game does not launch
and wine hangs (details of console output attached)
Steam continues to work in the background and it is possible to attempt the
launch the game again but with no more success
This is under wine 1.3.1, with the following elements installed through
winetricks:
- corefonts
- drdx9
- drdx9_28
- drdx9_36
- vcrun2005
Using a "clean" wine installation without the native drdx9 dlls leads to the
same error
Please let me know if more information is required and I will happily provide
it.

> Was it posted to wine-patches?
Even if it could, it would be rejected since it's missing an important part -
the tests.

Yes for a long time. I check this bug and 20637 with each wine version and need
to run them separate and not one after another.

See these rejects, all got rejected it seems.

Summary: Display corruption in Lotus Notes
Product: Wine
Version: 1.2.1
Platform: x86-64

Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org

Example of tab display corruption
Several display corruptions in Lotus Notes, black borders around tabs. Some
dialogs have part of windows completely blacked out (cannot see text) (see
screenshot).
Kubuntu 10.10 in KDE 4.5.1.With and without Compiz.
Adding the following to the registry fixed the issues:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\X11 Driver]
"ClientSideWithRender"="N"

Even if I set win98 mode in wine, the app aborts with the same error
in today's git. I haven't tried the symlink.
