Sometimes the updater will crash while updating, which is fixed by patching manually. The crash happens when you click Start Game, after Gameguard updates and initializes. WINEDEBUG=-all,+storage generates huge logs, ( 4 Gb in 10 minutes !) just for a 4 Mb file opening, and it doesn't succeed, it has to be killed. Looks like an infinite loop or a race condition... Attached WINEDEBUG=-all,fixme+storage log for a file open operation. I can select which char field has focus with the mouse, and the cursor blinks, but other than that typing results to nothing. One side effect I noticed, the last app that had focus before GW, was a pidgin window. So while I was presented with GW log in screen, the key strokes, where typed in the pidgin chat window. Weird. Hope this bug will be fixed as my sister is annoying me... If i'm playing a normal linux game like ioquake3 fullscreen and someone calls me in ekiga, the incoming call popup is displayed correctly and i can quit my game and answer the call...
