A lot of users perform the regression testing, it's really not that hard.

Have you tested other MDI applications?

Dmitry, it seems I'm not experienced enough, especially taking in mind I have
the only (and new, and critical) environment in hands.
Not having Windows distribution I, of course, have not Windows applications :-)
- LTspice is almost the only I use (and the second and last one is also free).
I wonder, is LTspice the only MDI app having the problem? Do other MDI apps
work fine? The case LTspice is unique seems to me too surprising.

No, unless you really tested under ALL of them (including sparc, etc.).
What about regression testing results? You promised one 4 years ago.

Then please open a separate bug and provide the regression test results there.

Dmitry, just want to inform 1.1.42 is also affected (under Kubuntu 10.4). If I
understand you correctly, you mean version field must be one when the bug was
discovered.
As for platform, I have switched to amd64 an age ago, and the issue doesn't
depend on platform arch. As a result, I think setting the field to All is a
correct as far as selecting a concrete one is misleading.

Summary: Warblade Demo: crashes on startup, maybe regression
Product: Wine
Version: 1.0-rc1
Platform: PC-x86-64
URL: http://www.warblade.as/warblade_demo.exe
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2

console output of the crash
When I try to start the Warblade Demo in either DirectX or OpenGL mode it
crashed right after the selection. The AppDB page tells nothing about crashes,
only about corrupted sound and slow graphics, so this may be a regression but I
cannot confirm that as it never worked on my machine.
I'm testing on Ubuntu 8.04 x86_64 with kernel 2.6.24-17-generic and using
wine-0.9.61 from wine.budgetdedicated.com repository.

The windows cursor being in the center of the screen is not from this patch,
but rather MOUSEWARPOVERRIDE=force. Before this patch, however, only the
animated cursor was shown.
