OnLive Backtrace and terminal output
When loading up OnLive you get a error message "We have detected one of your
controllers may not be supported."
After that message you go through the login which loads up fine. Menus and
browsing around the application works just fine with the mouse but it's when
you load up a game that the problem shows up. The mouse doesn't seem to be
detected.
In the terminal output it comes up as Xinput
OS: Ubuntu 11.04

Summary: Steam hardware survey crashes during hardware
detection
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.7
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: scott(a)open-vote.org
This used to work at some point, however rather than a regression in Wine I
think it may be a case of the hardware survey getting more pervasive. These
two errors show in the terminal:
fixme:process:GetLogicalProcessorInformation ((nil),0x33fc84): stub
fixme:process:GetLogicalProcessorInformation (0x433c00,0x33fc84): stub
As a random guess, the crash may just be steam getting confused by the output
given by the stubs.

In some situations the game will crash. For example at the initiation city near
the mage trainer there are a few boxes. If you destroy them, the game will
crash. Next is when you go back to the airship there will be a sequence and
after the dialog you can move where you want. If you turn around after that
dialog the game will also crash.
I tried various times and those crashes are 100% reproducable with version 1.03
of the game (original dvd, no crack!).
I attached the output from terminal to this post.

Terminal output and backtrace
HTML-Kit includes a simple web browser that can be accessed from within the
main program window. This browser can load web pages in Wine, but crashes as
soon as any link is clicked. To reproduce, click the online tab in the upper
tab bar, navigate to www.winehq.org, and click on any link on the page.
winetricks ie8 works around it. As with bug 23827, I couldn't get a backtrace
except by running winedbg manually and setting $BreakOnFirstChance=1.

Bug #: 28727
Summary: The Application Memory Map has worked under Wine for
years, but fails in Kubuntu 11.10
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.28
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: winehq(a)hadrian-way.co.uk
Classification: Unclassified
I have used the application Memory Map under Wine for years, in fact I posted
some of the entries for it in the Application Database. It has always worked
well for me, through several upgrades of the underlying OS.
Yesterday, I upgraded my system to Kubuntu 11.10 by a clean installation
(retaining my /home partition) and today I re-installed Wine. When I launch
Memory Map I get a dialog headed 'Program Error' that says 'The program
MMNav.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are
sorry....'
The supporting info simply points me here.
Since this has worked for so long, I have no idea what version of Wine was
running on 11.04, but clearly something has changed. Any help as to what to
look for and how I can get more info about the problem would be appreciated.
