The bug from comment #16 is now fixed. It was fixed somewhere between 1.3.31 and 1.3.34. These messages appear in both cases: CONFIG:Loading primary settings from config file /home/xxx/.wine/dosdevices/c:/users/xxx/Temp/cfg21b.tmp MIXER:Got different values from SDL: freq 44100, blocksize 512 ALSA:Can't subscribe to MIDI port (65:0) nor (17:0) MIDI:Opened device:oss And it works fine both with wineconsole and wine.
