Bring up properties of a track (right click->properties or alt+enter), navigate
to some field and press F2 to edit. Now the field is completely blue and it's
not possible to enter anything. Press escape, and press F2 again. Application
freezes and after a while it simply crashes.
Editing tags works just fine in wine 1.3.11. Makes no difference if i use a 64
or 32 bit prefix it seems.

When installer starts copying files, "Details..." button appears. Pressing this
button shows a read-only edit box that displays current progress on processing
files. It works on Windows, but not on Wine. I've tested it with VLC's and Qt's
installers.

Summary: Chrome outer installer can't download inner installer
Product: Wine

OS/Version: other

ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com
Tried Chrome today by going to chrome.google.com in firefox under wine and
downloading what they offered.
The small (750KB) outer installer starts, but fails because
WinHttpCrackUrl is too picky about its arguments. I
removed the extra checks (see attached patch) and it got
a fair bit further; the failure seems to be associated with the log message
err:winhttp:netconn_secure_connect SSL_connect failed: error:140770FC:SSL
routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol
(which might mean all sorts of things, including we tried
to connect to an http server with https...)

Google Chrome works pretty well -- heck, I'm using it under Wine to
post this bug report -- but it can't log in to gmail.
Ditto for chromium built from sources.
See also bug 20340 and bug 20622.
(Installing Chrome requires "winetricks msxml3",
and running it requires --no-sandbox;
running debug builds also requires a stub for GdiInitializeLanguagePack, see
http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome/trunk/src/chrome/renderer/render_proc…)

Summary: Google Chrome status bar renders improperly
Product: Wine

Platform: Other
URL: http://chrome.google.com

Status: UNCONFIRMED

ReportedBy: royshea(a)gmail.com

Status bar improperly rendered in lower left
Chrome uses a status bar that to display when actions, such as loading a site,
are taking place. When an action begins the status bar should appear light
blue in the lower left corner of the screen with text describing the action,
and when the action is complete the status bar should disappear.
When running Chrome in Wine the status bar does does not correctly appear and
disappear. Problems include: the status bar is present without any status text
when chrome starts, loading pages almost never triggers updating the status bar
with a status message, the status bar occasionally shows through windows placed
in front of the chrome window, rarely the status bar does change but it then
returns to being stuck in the new state.
The stuck status bar is blue, but attempts to capture the status bar with a
screen shot result in the status bar simply being incorrectly rendered. A
screen shot is attached.
