This should be fixed by commit 15ad749eced53e0c33454970bfc2bdb58b64f92b
and its successors.
Admins, mark this as fixed and wait for somebody to complain/reopen
or leave open and wait for somebody to confirm?
Or ask the guys at bug #18511 for comments?

Either that patch was an April Fool's joke or Huw forgot to check something in:
----
...
dc.o: In function `alloc_dc_ptr':
/home/ehoover/src/wine-git/dlls/gdi32/dc.c:82: undefined reference to
`dib_driver'
/usr/bin/ld: dc.o: relocation R_386_GOTOFF against undefined hidden symbol
`dib_driver' can not be used when making a shared object
/usr/bin/ld: final link failed: Bad value
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Looks like Huw is picking this up again.
http://source.winehq.org/patches/data/72850 is "gdi32: Add a skeleton dib
driver." This has NOT been approved, yet. I'm going to look at the rebased
patch to see if it applies cleanly to 1.3.17 and if it will compile.
