And then it asks me to report the problem here. Sooo... Yeah.
What's what?

Good morning.
I hope this is the right place.
Running the Macports - version of Wine on a Mac to use a Matlab - tool, I am
missing the menu bar (no keyboard - shortcuts exist).
Matlab has to be run disabling its jvm with this configuration, but after that,
the tool opens. It´s just that it´s useless :(
No error message.
Thanks Wine - Guys

2 backtraces
The switch from ORM=backbuffer to fbo reveals a bug causing wine to crash on
running Motocross Madness 2 Demo. The crash occurs when entering a race,
leaving the menus.
The backtrace that Henry Verbeet asked for in bug #18956 is attached.
While I was at it, I added a different backtrace about the crash that occurs
when attempting to use RenderTargetLockMode=readtex, also a non-default
setting.
In both cases the crashes happen in Apple's glgProcessPixelsWithProcessor when
called from surface_download_data() or surface_depth_blt().
I'm sorry to not yet provide observations about wine-1.1.24.
Using an nVidia "early 2009" Mac mini with OSX 10.5.7, XQuartz 2.3.3.2 and wine
compiled by myself without Fink or MacPorts.

output of wine after the game client launches
Fallen Earth seems to run/work, but playing the game is next to impossible
right now because the mouse look mode won't work. Tab switches between using
the mouse to control a cursor for interacting with the UI and looking around
the world / aiming. When in UI/cursor mode, the mouse operates as expected, but
in mouselook mode, movement of the mouse doesn't do anything visible.
I've attached all the console logging I got while running the game. There's
more output, but not for the game -- it's for the updater application that runs
prior to launching the game's process. If you would like that output as well, I
can attach it later.

Summary: Winetest thinks windowscodecs is configured native
when it isn't
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.33
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.6
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: programs
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: cdavis(a)mines.edu
When I try to run Winetest to submit test results, I get a message box telling
me that some DLLs are configured native, and that I can't submit test results.
So I started winecfg to see if any DLLs really were native. Sure enough, no
DLLs were listed.
Then I looked at the log that winetest produces and found this message:
windowscodecs=load error Configured as native
There is no reason for this to be happening. I looked at the virtual drive C,
and there are no native copies of windowscodecs.dll anywhere. Why is this
happening? And why is this the only DLL affected? The other DLLs seem to work
fine.
I want to help you guys fix bugs in Wine, and to do that, some test results
would help. But I can't do that 'till winetest stops thinking that DLLs are
configured native when they really aren't.

Summary: Red Alert 3: GL_INVALID_VALUE when rendering text on
Mac OS
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: Macintosh
URL: http://na.llnet.cnc3tv.ea.com/u/f/eagames/cnc3/cnc3tv/
RedAlert/RedAlert3PCDemo.exe
OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: cdavis(a)mines.edu
In C&C: Red Alert 3 running under the latest git on a Mac running Leopard, text
characters will often fail to render. This only happens in RA3 AFAICT. Other
programs render text fine. It happens with every version of RA3 to date
(including 1.12).
I noticed that every time D3D fails to render a character (or a group of
characters), this (or something like it) shows up in the log:
fixme:d3d_surface:surface_upload_data >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
GL_INVALID_VALUE (0x501) from glCompressedTexImage2DARB @ surface.c / 526
3D graphics appear to be otherwise unaffected.
I didn't actually start a game; this even happens in the menus. It is
particularly noticeable on the Settings screen (from the main menu, expand the
Options menu, then click on Settings). You can't see any of the text in the
drop-down list boxes, and if you're REALLY unlucky, some of the title text will
be missing.
It's been like this with GLSL as long it's worked under Wine on Mac OS. (It
doesn't work at all under ARB. By the time the necessary functionality was
implemented, ARBvp was broken on Mac OS.) From what I can tell, it works fine
on Linux, so this might be a bug in Xquartz instead of Wine. Perhaps I should
file a bug with the Xquartz people as well.
Setting the offscreen rendering mode to backbuffer doesn't help. Neither does
turning off rendering fonts with XRender. (It doesn't work at all with pbuffer
as the offscreen rendering mode.) Even turning the in-game settings all the way
down doesn't help.
My computer is a Santa Rosa MacBook Pro with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7700
CPU and an nVidia GeForce 8600M GT GPU. I'm using THE driver for Mac OS (the
one that came with the OS). I'm pretty sure that this is NOT a dupe of bug
16146.

Summary: winetest-1.1.32 Can't enumerate test files: 998 after

Hi,
I cannot submit winetest results for 1.1.32 for the Mac because it exits
immediately after I refuse to install Gecko.
It displays: Can't enumerate test files: 998
winedbg reveals a null pointer exception.
=>0 0x422aa61b _update_window_doc+0x1b() in mshtml
1 0x422ac9d3 _HTMLWindow_Create+0xb3() in mshtml
6 0x7b86f59a _EnumResourceNamesA+0x3aa() in kernel32
(alas, winedbg on the Mac does not show source code line numbers, unlike
Linux).
git bisect yields
commit f9eff688918f68ae4eb793032474e69dfa689f55

mshtml: Moved nsdoc to HTMLDocumentNode object.
My setup is
OSX 10.5.7, XQuartz 2.3.3.2, gcc 4.2
configure --disable-win16
Oddly, past MacOSX winetest results of mine on test.winehq reported mshtml as
missing.
http://test.winehq.org/data/e8ce3e600a40a739f75d6716aae555c31b0b4d0d/index_…
I don't know why (perhaps because I did not install Gecko?).
Regards,
