Summary: Anarchy Online: Game crashes on startup after the

When starting the game, the launcher works. After selecting a previously
created character and hitting "Start", a gamewindow appears for a second and
then disappears. This only happens when you try to log in with a character,
creating a new character works. You can play the game as long as you log out
the first time, cause you cannot log in again.
I tried to start the game without the launcher to get a clean output.
Here is the log:

With the help of jhgf in IRC, we searched a bit deeper and in the end it seems
that the problem is in "wined3d.wined3d_surface_blt". The attachment (and the
following link) is a log with enabled warnings what shows the reason for the
stack overflow.

installation log
This is probably a regression.
I see nothing in the error log (attached) to indicate where the problem is. All
the error log messages look very familiar to me from past successful
installations.
I hesitated to report it because I though the error must be mine. But I have
tested carefully.
I got the same problem even after creating a new Oneiric partition. I also got
the same problem downloading 1.3 from the Ubuntu repository.
The attached log is from the current git version.
So I am somewhat puzzled.
Note that the installation did not terminate. I thought it might be some odd
latency (the program before that had loaded VERY slowly) and I knew that was a
problem, but I left the installation running all night to test, and nothing
happened.

Description: Fortix is a Qix-like arcade game, where you have to capture a
portion of the screen by drawing lines.
The problem: once an area of the screen is drawn, you gain points. The score
appears on the screen for a couple of seconds, but numerals are replaced by
capital letters. E.g. you will see JXU, instead of +95.
All other text (numerals and letters) appear correctly in the game.
This problem appeared in Wine-1.3.28, and the result of the regression test:

Description: The Polynomial is an indie space shooter with pretty nice visuals
and music. The game worked flawlessly in Wine until the latest game update
(v1.22 as of writing).
The problem: the game freezes when I kill an enemy.
The game utilizes Openal. Whether I use the built-in openal32.dll or the game
supplied one (with override), the problem is there.
The native Linux version of the game doesn't exhibit the problem.
The demo version of the game is still at version 1.21, which is not affected.
I tracked down the problem to the following commit:

This is not the same as bug 14966. While inserting clipart never quite worked
as on Windows, in the past it was possible in Word 2007 to browse the clip
organizer, copy an image to the clipboard, and insert it into the document.
Now, browsing the clip organizer produces an error message that the clip
organizer cannot complete the operation, and the thumbnails do not display.
