If moved to ~/.wine/drive_c (C:\), the application is able to start, although it requires Windows Media Player 9. This seems to be the only way I triggered this error. Happens on the same spot all the time in EVE-Online (when trying to log into char) and to stop the xorg loop i have to kill the wineprocess with ssh from another device. This has been an issue for many players and seems to be draging even from fglrx 9.10 drivers to latest 11.5.
