If you set msvcp80 to native in winecfg and run Avatar demo, it will crash on
this missing function.
mscodescan doesn't show any more missing, though I haven't yet tried the tips
in http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26284#c5.

Summary: Border around level select has funny lines and isn't

Go into Battle for Naboo and choose a sphere (a game). There will be a
monologue and a circular picture of a stylised scene from the level you have
selected.
This circular picture is bordered with a blue frame. It isn't a smooth blue
like in Windows. It has funny nested curved lines as it tries to make the same
smoothness as happens in Windows.
I'll be posting a video to show exactly what I mean.
This might be related to the pause menu border being flickery.
This is my graphics card:
An ATI Redwood [Radeon HD 5670] using the fglrx proprietary driver.
modinfo said my ATI driver's srcversion is EEC3D3F06B0B31BC528C8D9.
I'm putting 1.3.16 as the version, though I have never seen this work in any
version of Wine (up to 1.4 rc 2). I think this is an "original" bug, as opposed
to a bug introduced by a patch.

run wine BF1942.exe and either watch the intro movie or hit esc to go to
setup pages; select the default user name: Player; Player has a custom profile
i can not locate since
i have no manual for bf1942; select single player and instant battle; choose
any battle like tobruk;
two info screens detail the chosen game's setup with only one button to select;
after the second screen's
button is selected the map of tobruk appears for 1 second then the game crashes
back to command line in terminal.
i ran this command and it creates a file that is 131mb in size!
WINEDEBUG=+relay,+seh,+tid wine BF9141.exe &> log.txt;
when run with winedebug options the game crashes immediately with no video
output;
please, inform me how to make this very large file available to you if needed;
i searched http://bugs.winehq.org/ for battlefield and for 'battlefield 1942'
but could
not find any relevant pages or fixes; also did an extensive net search with no
fixes found.

Summary: Artweaver tool window fails to re-dock
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.33
Platform: PC

OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: billstei(a)hbci.com
In Artweaver 1.07 the Properties tool window can be undocked from it's default
position (directly below the application menus), but when the window is dragged
back to that position, it fails to re-dock. As a workaround, this Properties
window can be re-docked via menu Window->Arrange Palettes->Default, but this is
not ideal since it also defaults all other floating tool windows. Note: In
native MS Windows re-docking occurs after LMB release, and this behavior varies
slightly in WinXP versus Vista, the latter requiring that the dragged window
overlap the application menus slightly in order to dock.

Doesn't crash without it, and you only get one fixme:
fixme:msvcrt:_setmaxstdio stub: setting new maximum for number of
simultaneously open files not implemented,returning 2048
but without it, you can never get in game. To reproduce:
install brink.
Workaround bug 27141.
Apply patch for bug 20395, so you can use the mouse.
Run winecfg, choose an audio driver (I got a crash otherwise).
Start the game, I choose 'Escape the ark' (but I don't think it matters),
create a default character, and mash the enter to start a game. Eventuall
you'll get a loading screen, saying to press any key.
Now, with builtin msvcr90, you'll get a black screen with two buttons, one to
load a menu, one to skip the intro. The game will hang at this point.
With native, an intro video plays.
I'll attach a +msvcrt trace.

I have the Debian package for Ubuntu 9.10 of wine-1.1.36 installed. I also
compiled version 1.1.36 in the git source tree.
When I run a game via "WINEDEBUG=/home/korn/wineprefixes/comanche_3 wine
Wc3.exe" (using the executable from the Debian package) the game recognizes the
mounted ISO.
But when I run the game via the wine build from the source tree
"WINEDEBUG=/home/korn/wineprefixes/comanche_3 ~/wineprefixes/wine/wine/wine
Wc3.exe" the game complains about the missing CD.
The game CD is mounted in /media/cdrom0 and the ISO file is also linked:
