I read on the Internet that this is a problem in Windows sometimes as well, but that setting the compatibility mode to Windows 95 lets it run. I compiled in 16-bit support and tried some Windows version settings, no luck. The app requires .net, so I did "winetricks dotnet20", then ran wlinstaller.exe. No joy, not even a gui.
