Steam.exe (main exception): Win32 StructuredException at 7A9C8C95 : Attempt to read from virtual address 0 without appropriate access rights. And then Steam disappears. If you click Options > Input... and try changing the keyboard controls, such as changing "K" and "L" to "Z" and "X" for example, it won't work. If using Nestopia in Windows, the controls can be remapped. The similar problem affects drop-down menus, when choosing options from the game menu bar. Can be reproduced in the demo (check out the link). In Wine, such folders still have the plus sign even though it doesn't do anything. This is done via a SD-card. While Wine 1.1.9 was not able to find the device (mapped to K:), an upgrade to 1.1.44 terminates even earlier: After unpacking the file it terminates with a runtime error. The controller and adapter show up as an HID under windows, but they aren't detected under WINE. I'm working on this bug, and have created this to track progress.
