Hello Everyone,
There is a problem with fullscreen when not in emulated desktop that
causes the mouse to be able to move the screen. I tested the demo of
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and it has this issue. This also effects
Devil May Cry 3 and other games.

Bug #: 32925
Summary: KERNEL32.dll.GetVolumeInformationByHandleW is not
implemented
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.23
Platform: x86-64
URL: http://www.winuae.net/files/InstallWinUAE2510.exe
OS/Version: Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: kernel32
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: markk(a)clara.co.uk
Classification: Unclassified
The latest beta build of WinUAE tries to call
KERNEL32.dll.GetVolumeInformationByHandleW, which is implemented in Windows
Vista and later. But even after setting the OS level to Vista with winecfg,
Wine exits reporting:
wine: Call from 0x7bc4d010 to unimplemented function
KERNEL32.dll.GetVolumeInformationByHandleW, aborting
wine: Unimplemented function KERNEL32.dll.GetVolumeInformationByHandleW called
at address 0x7bc4d010 (thread 0009), starting debugger...
GetVolumeInformationByHandleW seems similar to the earlier GetVolumeInformation
function, but instead of a root directory path (e.g. "D:\") you pass a file
handle.
To reproduce:
- Download and run the WinUAE 2.5.1 installer.
- Download
http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae_GetVolumeInformationByHandleW.zip and
replace winuae.exe with the one from that archive.
- Run winuae.exe
- When the WinUAE Properties window opens, click Hard drives in the tree-view
to the left. Click Add Directory or Archive... then enter (for example) "test"
in the Device name and Volume label fields, and C:\ for Path. Click OK.
- Click Configurations in the tree-view. Type something in the Name field (e.g.
test.uae) and click Save. Wine should crash.

Summary: Fraps cannot measure FPS
Product: Wine
Version: 1.2
Platform: x86
URL: http://www.fraps.com/setup.exe
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Keywords: download
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: austinenglish(a)gmail.com
Long standing bug, afaik, but Fraps can't measure fps. While many games have
their own fps measuring option, some don't, and others make it hard to find.
Under wine, you can get reasonably close with WINEDEBUG=+fps, but for a full
screen app, or when you only want to measure a certain scene, this can be a
PITA.
Easy demo:
download/install Fraps (http://www.fraps.com/setup.exe)
download/install 3dMark2001 (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=99)
run fraps (wine C:\fraps\fraps.exe)
run 3dmark2001, and press 'F11'.
expected result: fps display in top left
actual result: no fps in top left

So when I'm play games running full screen mode and I want to switch to some
other application (like firefox to listen to some music). Switching to non-full
screen app works fine however when I want to switch back to the full screen one
it brakes.
I noticed that when I'm using Unity the game freezes completely while on KDE
game turns back almost perfectly, but it's shorter a bit (system bar is visible
- rest is the game) and to click something it must be clicked a bit underneath.
I think it might be something with one of Directx component. Not sure witch
one. I used Farming Simulator 2013, Neighbours from Hell (1 & 2), Mad Tracks
and Euro Truck Simulator (1 & 2). This issue don't happen in StuntGP however it
does not use mouse.

Summary: Scrabble Online will not restore from a minimised state
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.10
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P5
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: kennybobs(a)o2.co.uk
As the title suggests.
Atari Scrabble Online has a minimise button, but minimising is a bad idea.
In earlier versions of wine it simply wouldn't restore. I have just tried
again in 1.1.10 and it doesn't minimise properly and locks up the screen, and
has to be killed.
This only occurs when playing the game in fullscreen mode; a virtual desktop is
an easy workaround and the game can be minimised and restored.
I don't know if a trace would be any use here, but I will certainly do one if
required.

Testcase
As described in bug 17195, SetNamedPipeHandleState is currently a stub, and
always returns FALSE. Changing it to return TRUE causes one test to fail and
currently todo_wine test to succeed. It also allows the test cases in bug
17195 to run. I'm attaching some partially implemented test cases for the
GetNamedPipeHandleState and SetNamedPipeHandleState functions.
