Whenever I run Endless Space I get the error message "Fatal error in gc, GetThreadContext failed". This one is rather serious, the application boots(once you've copied over the directory from a windows installation and chosen the "register from another computer option"), but then fails to load or save it's own .acd file format and play any .wav files. It simply states "the reason for being unable to open the project file could not be determined". Making the program pretty much garbage. Other trivial bugs are occurring too including the welcome screen which fails to load with wine gecko and icons which are weird looking. An earlier version installed and ran on an earlier wine. This one does not. Directions to reproduce: Download free trial sh winetricks vb6run mfc40 (I also install gdiplus and fontfix) also tried with the following sh winetricks mfc42 vcrun2003 vcrun2005 vcrun2005sp1 vcrun2008 vcrun2008sp1 just to make sure that the author wasn't using updated libs, but he's not.
