Log
I have an AMD Radeon 7950, and I am getting serious graphical errors. The
screenshots will explain it better than I can, it is basically just random
colors all over the screen. On top of this, if I raise the settings to anything
higher than low, the game will crash almost immediately.

Hi,
I am installing proteus 8.1 sp1 and the install stops when asking for the
licence key. I click on next and nothing happens.
I tried the solution of bug 35544 by installing winetricks -q w57 but it didnt
work. I am using wine 1.7.13.
The main error seems to be

Summary: winhelp: Extraneous flashing cursor/caret
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.0
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: programs
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: markk(a)clara.co.uk
Wine winhelp shows a flashing cursor/caret symbol when you click somewhere in
the text. Windows winhelp does not do that. That behaviour may be desired, e.g.
it makes selecting text using the keyboard possible. However...
Click in a page so the cursor is shown, then click on a link to go to another
page. A flashing cursor is present at the top left, even before you click in
the page.
On some help pages, the flashing cursor is present at the top left even before
the user clicks in the page. Also, if there is a large graphic at the top left,
the flashing cursor may appear (see cwdeluxe.hlp and click on the picture).
Windows 95 Winhelp does not allow images to be selected.
cwdeluxe.hlp is in winehelp_bugs.tar.bz2 at

I'm using wine-1.7.0 which I've patched with the
disable-dynamic-vertex-buffers.patch
(https://github.com/Pinkbyte/pinkbyte-overlay/blob/master/app-emulation/wine…).
When I play (no matter what graphics settings, no matter if fullscreen or
windowed), I get purple bars over some text elements. It's annoying ingame
because I cannot tell the difference which players are alive and which are dead
anymore. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like:

Is there anything I could try to get rid of this problem? Other than this it

The isometric view is composed partly of 2D artwork and 3D animated objects and
characters. Most of the 3D objects are partially drawn to the point of becoming
invisible after a while.
Logfile is filled with :
fixme:ddraw:d3d_device7_GetClipStatus iface 0x13c940, clip_status 0x33e6e8
stub!
and also a few Depth/Stencil fixmes.
Note:
- "Disable texture blitting" must be checked in the advanced options of the
launcher, or the UI will be missing parts.
- "Enable Real Time Light" must be unchecked in the in-game options menu, or no
element other than the background and the UI will be drawn.
- Some part of the player character can be seen when he moves.
The demo specified in the download link also has this bug.

Command line messages, from a run on Linux Mint Debian Ed. x64 / Mate Desktop
and Wine 1.7.15
DELISprint is an online/offline parcel check-in and label print application
from DPD, a large German parcel service.  It is necessary for business
customers of DPD. You need to be a registered customer to really use it, but
it can be freely tried in demo mode. It may be freely downloaded from
http://delisprint.dpd.com/download/v5/DELISprint_Setup.exe (Ver. 5.6.7.0, 30
MB).
According to its included Help PDF it is written for Win 2000/XP, but runs also
on Win 7. It seems to make heavy use of a Jet DB and brings 30 dlls. Prior to
installation in a new WINEPREFIX it needs jet40 and mdac28 via winetricks.
With these prerequisites DELISprint_Setup.exe installs. On first start it
automatically imports quite a lot of CSV data into its DB and then seems to
work. But on exit and second start it hangs at its splash screen, the Wine
debugger window opens but remains empty.
The same happened with Wine 1.7.11 and Wine 1.6.2 on an x86 installation.
I found one old unanswered forum thread with the same problem:
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-users/2012-March/104110.html
See attached command line messages, from a run on Linux Mint Debian Ed. x64 /
Mate Desktop and Wine 1.7.15, after clicking »Close« in the debugger window and
then pressing Ctrl-C because the program didn't close.
