Menus are displayed and functional, text can be blindly copied to the clipboard from a loaded document, and it can print documents normally (cups-pdf). Screenshot (3.6.3, 32-bit): https://appdb.winehq.org/appimage.php?iId=48997 The last time it worked was with SciTE 3.5.7 on 1.7.33 but on 1.8 it doesn't. SciTE 3.6.3 is also affected (UPX, ZIP, MSI). Bug #36499 is still present so a native d2d1.dll from Win7 32-bit was used (64-bit MSI install page faults with 64-bit Win8 d2d1.dll). No problems with 32-bit 3.6.3 on WinXP (no d2d1.dll). When I go to paste it in any native application, it fails, with no info other than what is seen in the attached file (taken from my ~/.xsession-errors). This worked until I upgraded wine to 1.9.18 today. I also built the latest version from git (same as 1.9.18 as of the time I built it) and saw the same error there. I also verified that downgrading to 1.9.17 resolves the issue. I am on Arch Linux, and using XFCE 4.12. So if you need more information please be as detailed as possible. VirtualBox 5.1.6 Ubuntu 16.04 I am running an old financial program on wine and when I go to print I select PDF and hit print and nothing happens. The print box closes and the program remains open but no PDF shows up in the PDF file under the home directory. Now I did test Notepad that comes with wine and it created a PDF in the correct folder. Also when I first started the program by right clicking on the .exe and "open with" -> Wine Windows Program Loader. Wine asked me a couple times to install addition software for the program and I don't know exactly what they were but the program opened. And finally if you download the free demo, the installer will not start. But I put the installed program folder from my windows in a shared folder and just ran the .exe and it worked, using the right clicking method. But if you try to run the program from the command line using "wine /media/sf_shared/rpwin/rpwin.exe" it comes up with an "fixme:hook:SetWindowsHookEx16 System-global hooks (4) broken in Win16" Free demo is downloaded here. http://www.fimetrics.com/demo.shtml That is all the info I have thanks. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I subsequently tried downloading Gecko using the instructions on https://wiki.winehq.org/Gecko i.e. wget http://dl.winehq.org/wine/wine-gecko/2.40//wine_gecko-2.44-x86_64.msi and received the same error wget http://dl.winehq.org/wine/wine-gecko/2.40//wine_gecko-2.44-x86_64.msi --2016-02-08 18:21:19-- http://dl.winehq.org/wine/wine-gecko/2.40//wine_gecko-2.44-x86_64.msi Resolving dl.winehq.org (dl.winehq.org)... 103.245.222.69 Connecting to dl.winehq.org (dl.winehq.org)|103.245.222.69|:80... connected. HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found 2016-02-08 18:21:19 ERROR 404: Not Found. It would appear that the Gecko packages for 1.9.3 is not available on that site.
