I understand that __wine_kernel_init is probably not aware of the download but anyway wine should not ignore that the download is still running and conclude wine prefix creation. To test this I simply created a new prefix (I always do "WINEPREFIX=/path/... wine winecfg" and then wait for winecfg to appear). -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
