The game uses Denuvo anti-tamper/protection technology + DirectX11. I dedubbed the game using a clean Wine 1.9.7 64-bit installation without additional winetricks stuff. The method to limit memory mentioned there doesn't work with wine. Fortunately enough, the game's options menu is visible enough so that I can get the gem to go into windowed mode, set it to full screen and play the game.
