This is probably the same issue as described in
https://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-devel/2014-March/103293.html (the
out-of-scope problem).

WinISD ver 0.7.950 When installing it will stop at the choose directory to
install to.
Have found that if you have an older version of WinISD already installed, then
you need to remove the old version and the file folder first then the new
version will install.

Gziped sample xls file.
When opening big spreadsheets (xls) in Microsoft Excel 2010 (32bit software in
32bit wineprefix) from local HDD, they opens really fast, but when opening the
same files from SAMBA shares, it takes significantly more time. This problem
not related to network bandwidth. For example, 11.2 Mb. test file from
attachment opens from HDD in about 4 sec. and from SAMBA share it opens from 50
to 80 sec.. At the same time copying the same file from SAMBA share to HDD in
file manager takes about 2 sec.. Problem exists in both WINE 2.0 and
WINE-Staging 2.0. And also in both latest PlayOnLinux and CrossOver 16.1. Linux
distribution is Alt Linux P7 and Alt Linux P8 with KDE5. Version of Samba is
4.3.13.

Summary: Thief Gold - Black screen when going underwater and
accessing inventory
Product: Wine

Wine output when running the game and reproducing the bugs listed.
-Background Info-
Thief Gold (with TFix patch) used to run exceptionally well (no
issues/bugs/graphical errors) around September 18, 2015 on Arch Linux (with
everything up to date, so I was using whatever wine and mesa versions were
available at the time). I went on a hiatus from playing the game until
yesterday (I still used my system and updated to the newer releases of things
like wine and mesa, etc) and now whenever my character goes underwater the
screen turns black, and when I try accessing the inventory it turns black also.
-Bug-
When going underwater my screen will turn black, if I surface back on top of
the water the game appears normal (this will continue). If I try accessing my
inventory, instead of the item showing the screen just turns black and it is
impossible to get the game looking like it did before.
-What I have tried to do-
I have tried reverting back to older versions of Wine AND mesa but the problem
persists. I am begininng to wonder whether it is something like an xorg server
update causing the problem, if that is possible.

This bug might be related to an abandoned and unresolved one (Bug 10877). The
hardware, OS and Wine versions are newer though.
Chessmaster 9000 cannot draw any of its built-in 2d chess sets and some of its
3d sets.
With 2d sets, either the board or the pieces (or both) are not rendered. With
3d sets, it depends on the chosen set, some board/pieces combinations are
handled correctly and some are not.

The "x" in the upper right hand corner of the Google Talk window does not work
for closing the application. However, the minimization button does work. I'm
unsure as to which feature has a bug or is unimplemented.
