Most of the 3D objects are partially drawn to the point of becoming invisible after a while. Logfile is filled with : fixme:ddraw:d3d_device7_GetClipStatus iface 0x13c940, clip_status 0x33e6e8 stub! and also a few Depth/Stencil fixmes. Note: - "Disable texture blitting" must be checked in the advanced options of the launcher, or the UI will be missing parts. - "Enable Real Time Light" must be unchecked in the in-game options menu, or no element other than the background and the UI will be drawn. - Some part of the player character can be seen when he moves. This software was made to Windows XP enviroment and its last upgrade was at 2003. This software comes with a very large Help Menu, which should be diplayed on a dockable window panel. It has a lot of text and images and samples codes to teach all about the internal ElicaLogo commands. In Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8, it works so fine, all the Help menu is displayed. In Linux (Ubuntu and Lubuntu) we can not to see any on the Help menu window. It is necessary for business customers of DPD. You need to be a registered customer to really use it, but it can be freely tried in demo mode. It may be freely downloaded from http://delisprint.dpd.com/download/v5/DELISprint_Setup.exe (Ver. 5.6.7.0, 30 MB). According to its included Help PDF it is written for Win 2000/XP, but runs also on Win 7. It seems to make heavy use of a Jet DB and brings 30 dlls. Prior to installation in a new WINEPREFIX it needs jet40 and mdac28 via winetricks. With these prerequisites DELISprint_Setup.exe installs. On first start it automatically imports quite a lot of CSV data into its DB and then seems to work. But on exit and second start it hangs at its splash screen, the Wine debugger window opens but remains empty. The same happened with Wine 1.7.11 and Wine 1.6.2 on an x86 installation. While recvmsg waits for incoming data GetWriteWatch resets write watches by clearing VPROT_WRITE access on a buffer passed to recvmsg. That cases recvmsg to return EFAULT which in turn leads to a .net application raising an exception and dying. This is basically a .net garbage collector causing races in network code which reads/writes to a buffer because reading or writing via a network is much slower than say reading/writing a disk file, but essentially this is a general problem with resetting a write watch while another thread is being dealing with the affected memory range. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Downloaded. Opened in Wine. Wine ran the Install. It said completed in its GUI. Tried to open the .exe with Wine. And Wine puts up that its processing to Load something, but it never actually opens. It seems integrated. I tried opening the .exe from Program Files. And from its icon in Launcher. But no go for either. I think that Wine should use a command line dialog when is invoked from command line or add a command line option to automatically install mono and gecko when wine is used in servers with no X server or with xvfb server. The windows version runs in Wine with just a few defects only. There is a native Linux version, but many people use the windows version in wine to generate win32 executables. The toolbars in the IDE do not show any icons, the toolbar works, but the icons are not displayed. This problem is not the typical icons are not drawn, as the toolbar is being stretched too. The problem has been happening for years with older versions of Wine and Purebasic. Look attached screenshot: if you scroll the item in the list view, the bottom of the control leaves a "ghost" of the previous drawn item. This "ghost" is the size of the scrollbar. This is a particular condition that can be easy to replicate: wine explorer is a good testing tool. This error does not always happens: you must resize the height of the listview control until you match a critical height. You must be precise at pixel level to reproduce it. If you match that height in pixel, then the problem is easy to see. I have seen this bug by maximizing the window of explorer and, for pure luck, the height of the listview was exactly the multiple required to make the bug to happen. This bug looks like a missing or wrong rounding somewhere and it may be a problem of GDI or a bug into the listview control... actually this can be addressed by running WINE's comctl32 on Windows, but I didn't yet. Raw printing is useful for those applications which expect the printer to receive their pre-formatted data as is: apps which output PCL directly, label printer software, ....
