Upside down menu background
Oxygen Not Included is in early Alpha. Linux port is planned but so far there
is only Windows build.
There are several graphics issues reported by several users:
- Menu graphics are upside down
- For some people the world ingame is also drawn upside down, while for others
it comes up full black.
More info can be found here:
http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/74079-oni-linux-wine-status/
P.s.: I'm a noob, but if you give me instructions on what logs to attach, or
what debugging to do and how, I would be happy to try my best to help, as I won
the game.

Just tried running Wolfenstein - The New Order on the latest Wine version. As
this game only exists as 64-bit binary, this only affects wine-amd64. I'm not
really good at reading stack traces, but if I read this correc,t glGetString()
in opengl32 is crashing. See attached stack trace.

When CSMT is enabled, the preview panes in VirtualDub are empty which makes it
impossible to see what you're doing. See the attached screenshot.
Strangely enough, when switching from VirtualDub to another window the preview
appears, but as soon as the VirtualDub window is active again, the preview
becomes empty.

Summary: The Witcher 3 starting menu is distorted [radeonsi]

Witcher 3 main menu distortion (no CSMT)
I'm testing The Witcher 3 (GOG/1.31) with recent Wine staging 2.0 (CSMT
disabled), using AMD RX 480 and latest Mesa devel:
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD POLARIS10 (DRM 3.8.0 /
4.9.0-1-amd64, LLVM 3.9.1)
OpenGL core profile version string: 4.5 (Core Profile) Mesa 17.1.0-devel
(git-2ab2be092d)
OpenGL core profile shading language version string: 4.50
Users of Nvidia blob report that they don't have this issue in the starting
menu which appears correct to them, so menu distortion looks radenosi specific.
I opened a Mesa bug here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99444
However, Mesa developers closed it, noting, that it must be caused by Wine
using NV_register_combiners without checking if it's supported by the driver.
See details in the linked bug.

This is a point 'n click adventure game that was built on the Unity engine.
There is no demo version available.
In the options menu there are graphical list boxes to change screen resolution,
language or detail level, but none of the boxes have text written on them (see
attached screenshot).
Installing native d3dx9* dlls doesn't fix the problem (looks like the game
doesn't make use of d3dx9 at all).

TomTom HOME 2 - available at above link - does not start the GUI after
installation. Installation seems to work, all libraries are found, no obvious
system calls are missing, but there is still a problem.
I am using Debian Etch stable (4.0)
[Linux acer 2.6.23-rc3 #8 Thu Aug 30 17:27:22 CEST 2007 i686 GNU/Linux]
I have compiled Wine myself from yesterday's GIT version, as the Debian package
version still had the FindFirstVolumeW bug. I never encountered the text extent
bug, so presumably it has been fixed in that version. I am using gcc (GCC)
4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21).
[Using built-in specs.
Target: i486-linux-gnu
Configured with: ../src/configure -v
--enable-languages=c,c++,fortran,objc,obj-c++,treelang --prefix=/usr
--enable-shared --with-system-zlib --libexecdir=/usr/lib
--without-included-gettext --enable-threads=posix --enable-nls
--program-suffix=-4.1 --enable-__cxa_atexit --enable-clocale=gnu
--enable-libstdcxx-debug --enable-mpfr --with-tune=i686
--enable-checking=release i486-linux-gnu
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21)]
Attached you find +relay, +seh and +tid logs, plus the output from configure
--verbose of the compiled version. Note +relay is very long, it seems that wine
switches on the debugger after encountering the error and so does not bail out.
If you need anything else, do tell.

Hope this is the right place to place this bug.
For a simple and fast example, use the one from here:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms682512(v=vs.85).…
Problem: After calling CreateProcess, the PROCESS_INFORMATION is empty with no
handlers at all (everything is initialized with 0), GetLastError() is 0, the
process is created and executed, but we have no way of knowing when it ends
cause there is no handler.
Compiled using vs9 on Win7 prof. Works great.
Executed on linux using wine (tried with 1.6 and winehq-staging), runs but the
handlers are empty.
