It reports the following error when I try to connect via COM1 to my calculator: OpenWorkNT: CreateFile \\.\TICalcCOM1 error I can switch from black cable to grey cable and then this error does not appear but the transmission fails because I have a black cable. The software works in qemu with the black cable option. Where is \\.\TICalcCOM1. This is fixable by replacing this file with current upstream pip, https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/54/2e/df11ea7e23e7e761d484ed3740285… The replacement for platform.linux_distribution() needs the distro module pulled in, so the virtualenv config needs to be updated as well.
