I tested on Office 2007 enterprise SP3 and maybe it happen on other 2007 versions too. I have already installed a language pack for 2007 office. Notably, in the logs, I see quite a few of error messages of this type, although I'm not sure if they are related to the core issue: 0118:err:module:find_forwarded_export module not found for forward 'msvcr120.??0critical_section@Concurrency@@QAE@XZ' used by L"C:\\windows\\system32\\concrt140.dll" Full log with default debug channels is attached. Let me know if you need more information or more detailed logs, I'm happy to test and help resolve the issue. If I boot into Ubuntu 18.04, winwird runs. I checked and Ubuntu is running wine 3.0. When I poot into Arch, though, winword will not run.
