Summary: White textures in EverQuest (Unsupported Conversion

Logs containing the FIXME messages described above.
From what I have been able to read this bug was introduced earlier this year
when Daybreak updated EverQuest to use DirectX 11.
The logs report the following error messsage:
0340:fixme:wincodecs:FormatConverter_CanConvert Unsupported conversion
{6fddc324-4e03-4bfe-b185-3d77768dc90f} ->
{05ec7c2b-f1e6-4961-ad46-e1cc810a87d2}
The error message indicates specifically that a conversion failed from
16bppBGRA5551 to 32bppBGRA.
I have a minimal patch written up which addresses the issue for me. If this is
not a known issue that is being worked on I would not mind working on cleaning
it up and submitting it to the project.

The original Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon (on CD) seems to install fine, except for
this error at the end of installation:
wine start Setup.exe
[sean@sean-pc-arch GRECON]$ 00d4:fixme:file:NtLockFile I/O completion on lock
not implemented yet
00d4:fixme:sfc:SRSetRestorePointA 02EB66F0 02EB51E0

00d4:err:ole:CoReleaseMarshalData StdMarshal ReleaseMarshalData failed with
error 0x8001011d
^C
But, when I try to run the game, nothing happens and this is the output on
console:
wine start GhostRecon.exe
[sean@sean-pc-arch Ghost Recon]$ 00c0:err:winediag:wined3d_dll_init Setting
multithreaded command stream to 0.
^C
^C marks where I hit ctrl-c to stop the process, as it seemed hung.
I'm using a 32bit wineprefix with Windows 2000 or XP.
I can't really do regression testing, as I can't get an older package of wine
to install properly, and I also can't get wine to compile for even as new a
version as wine-4.0. It complains about multiple definitions of hInstance and
fails on compiling crypt32. Only the 5.0 releases will compile, and I have this
bug in them.
I've also noticed that a lot of older games seem broken. Seems like nobody has
tested these games in a while. The latest test of the Ghost Recon CD version
recorded in the App database is wine 1.5. Recently I had somebody help me out
with Age of Empires 2: The Age of Kings CD version, and we discovered that the
safedisc 1.x copy protection support was broken in wine since version 3.0 I
think. Probably a good idea to try running some old games, especially ones on
CD, to check for compatibility regressions.

FSD Log with seh, fixme and warn messages.
Hello,
the game Deep Rock Galactic fails to launch.
The splash image appears and then shortly after that, the Unreal Crash Reporter
opens.
When i taking a look at the log i do see messages about EnumProcessModulesEx.
I do have other Unreal Engine 4 titles aswell that dont work but also have
messages with EnumProcessModulesEx maybe it could be related to that?
Tested with Wine 8.0.2
Thank you in advance!

black settings window
This problem can be alleviated partially by writing '-_ForceGdiBackend'
(without the quotes) on %AppData%\Roaming\Ableton\Live (version)\Options.txt
Without this option set, all Ableton modal windows appear completely black
until some element inside of it is clicked or something inside of it moves
(screenshot attached)
The following is spammed on the console when this option is not set:
...
0134:fixme:dxgi:d3d11_swapchain_GetDesc Ignoring ScanlineOrdering and Scaling.
0134:fixme:dxgi:d3d11_swapchain_Present1 Ignored present parameters

...
With -_ForceGdiBackend on, the entire program works correctly, except for Max
devices, which do not update their interfaces corretly, except when Ableton
window size changes (and until it's resized again they stay frozen). They do
still function (you can move knobs) but their UIs won't update.
Tested with a clean build of latest git wine (commit
3a6e226e9ae25a6ad2646c7f8846be68386a3680 as I'm writing this).
