Video of the issue
Whenever I resize the mixer in FL Studio version 20/21/24 I get this weird
flickering graphical glitch that you can see in the attachment.
I've tested this in multiple computers with different versions of Wine and this
problem is still present with the latest 9.17 version of Wine.

When you move a window in FL Studio on wine 9.20 the graphical window doesn't
update, so it will morph and cease to exist in really buggy ways. this *might*
be fixable by enabling detached windows, but this is EVERY window. returning to
9.19 was the best solution for me.

Summary: x11 if display is not at (0,0) position, then cursor
will not match with application coordinates
Product: Wine

Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal

You can reproduce the issue with as little as setting an arbitrary position for
your display, so that it doesn't start at 0,0 then start wine notepad and move
it around or resize the window. Cursor will not match with application
coordinates. Cannot interact with the game properly and reach everything.
It's easier to show when only one display is present, and you would set the
coordinates to for instance 2000,2000. Then you would run 'wine notepad' and
simply try to interact with the menu using the mouse. Since the coordinates are
off, it doesn't really work.
Rationale: Having no display at 0,0 is supported - e.g., that position could be
for a laptop display that is off, or a display you have disconnected.
Originally identified running a game (Everspace 1) from Wayland in steam proton
9 and experimental and wondering why cursor appears unaligned. Solved by
setting >any< screen to match coordinates (0,0)

TCP/IP communication to device crashes app & Wine?
This application worked fine with Ubuntu XFCE 22.04 but after upgrading to
24.04 it no longer works.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Wine (Version 9.0~repack) from the Ubuntu
software center but that did not help.
I will try a .deb file install of version 9.2 if I can to see if that helps.
This is probably Canonical's fault and not a Wine bug but I'm not savvy enough
to know.
Crash log is attached.

After updating to WINE 9.17 the mouse pointer doesen't get locked anymore into
the position of the knob I'm tweaking, but with WINE 9.16 and below it was
getting locked into it and it was like it should be, and the issue only
appeared on Wayland
Expected behaviour:
The mouse pointer should get locked into the position of the knob I'm moving up
and down
What happens:
The mouse pointer doesen't get locked and I can move it around how much I want
and it can cause the system to crash if it hits the dock of my DE

Tried to run HoMM5 with latest stable Wine v9.0 on MacOS with M2 Pro CPU/GPU:
wine H5_Game.exe > ~/homm5_wine_pure_short.log 2>&1
but its freezes on start screen.
I noted error window "Error setting display mode" behind it. Pressing Esc
process is terminated.
In terminal it produces logs stating for lack of support for some GL_*
extensions, see homm5_wine_pure_short.log
I tried also with enabled graphics logging:
WINEDEBUG=+d3d,+dxgi,+wgl,+opengl,+vulkan,+display wine H5_Game.exe >
~/homm5_wine_pure_full.log 2>&1
Please find both logs attached.
