In the jetadmin case there is no dialog to enter IPs or MACs so broadcast packets are needed for this program to work at all. Jetadmin should send ought a broadcast packet asking for all the printers to respond, this packet is not receved by my other computers. I don't know what calles jetadmin uses to produce these packets. I can make logs avalible on request.
