That is out of the scope of the Wine project.

Depending on your jurisdiction. US, sure. Europe, etc., not so much.
And of course, countries not signatory to the Berne convention/some other
copyright agreement treaty can legally infringe copyrights from other
countries.
Copyrights are a mess...
--- Comment #50 from Henri Verbeet <hverbeet(a)gmail.com> 2009-08-28 12:19:57 ---
Just fwiw, GameGuard is "anti-cheating", not copy protection. Not that it
changes much for the discussion, Wine certainly doesn't want to include that
kind of circumvention code.
--- Comment #51 from landeel <cleberdemattoscasali-wine(a)yahoo.com.br> 2009-08-28 18:15:40 ---
I know this is really out of Wine's scope.
But I mean if such a project existed, totally apart from wine, it would benefit
wine users.

Wireshark protocol of login on Windows
Hi,
I tried to start "Runes of Magic" with wine, but failed.
After the installation it starts fine, the License-Dialog and Login-Screen
appear correctly.
After entering the login data, the client tries to communicate with the login
server (authentication and fetching the server list).
This doesn't work with Wine. I attach 2 wireshark protocols. The windows
protocol shows data in the tcp packets from both sides after the SYN.
The Linux/Wine protocol shows data only from the server, the client (running on
Wine) doesn't send data, just an ACK packet.
This leads me to the suspicion, that either the RPC library on Wine is not
working as expected or there is some encryption, which is only done with empty
stubs on Wine.
I tried to substitute rpcrt4.dll and secur32.dll on wine, but it doesn't solve
the problem.
As the Windows rpcrt4.dll leads also to an error (something with service
manager, but after maybe 30sec it continued), I removed it again from the list
of native libs.
If there is some more information, which I can provide, or some test I can do,
please tell me.

This breaks the configure script for Firefox.
For some reason, although cl works in bash, mt doesn't:

The two programs are right next to each other.
(The above is in wineconsole, which doesn't display

into a variable.)
Outside of bash, mt runs fine. Even in wineconsole,
you can see its output fine.

clamped values and further working with them as regular numbers and doesn't
output FP specials to floating point surface. I've put adding/substracting
small constant (0.1, -0.1, 0.1, 0.1) into PS shaders for observing such things.
And, in fact, everything in PS 1.4 appears to be clamped to 0..1. Whereas
native PS 3.0 does seem to fully support FP specials and can output them to
floating point surface. When PS 3.0 outputs NaN to regular RGB surfaces, it
seems to be converted to 0 (black). BTW I could only get it to receive a NaN,
cases where VS could be expected to generate +/- Inf somehow end up as NaN in
PS anyway, I think maybe this is because vertex interpolation produces NaNs
from several Inf input values. Could just as well be bugs in my code though :/.
For the purposes of fixing Max Payne 2 lightening, the most interesting part is
that, on native, "rcp of 0, mul by 0" (this is what goes wrong in MP2
essentially) in VS seems to pass to PS an actual zero, this is similar across
all VS/PS setups including fixed function, d3d8 and 9, and looks clearly
different from cases when NaN actually does seem to be passed to PS. Really
does looks strange, but so far despite trying hard I can't identify any bugs in
this part of tests. Is consistent with what happens in real Max Payne 2 game
though. Combined with the fact that rcp 0 DOES produce FP special (Inf)
accoring to my tests, this would mean somehow Inf mul 0 = 0 in VS on native.
Not exactly what is supposed to happen but then this is Microsoft stuff, so who
knows :/. In general, a lot of these results do not make sense as a whole and
vs IEEE specs or MS/Nvidia docs available. That was a lot of shaders, and I'm
not biggest shader guru, so part of issues could be due to my errors. It would
be great to get more results especially on ATI (both on Wine and native), this
could help make sense of some of these results and also identify suspect areas
in tests.
Also, probably I should mention I used D3DXAssembleShader and native d3d9x DLL
for generating shader byte code, could also be introducing some distortions. It
may perform some optimizations and modifications, but I did experiment with
options to try and get closest thing it can produce. If anyone knows more sure
ways to get exact byte code of shader assembly, feel free to suggest. I saw
references to some nvidia compiler, but can't find it officially available
anymore, perhaps nvidia dropped it.

The same things happens for me for braid_windows_r3.exe , eg from

The only error messages in the console are some 'unimplemented' messages for

Just fwiw, GameGuard is "anti-cheating", not copy protection. Not that it
changes much for the discussion, Wine certainly doesn't want to include that
kind of circumvention code.

I know this is really out of Wine's scope.
But I mean if such a project existed, totally apart from wine, it would benefit
wine users.

The summary is self-explaining: Currently, the text-generation applications
like NaturallySpeaking work only inside Wine applications, which is dirty
because in case of a real-world application, we would have to install every
input program in Wine.
Making every text-generation programing behave like a normal keyboard will let
the use of every application, especially voice recognition, easy.

hi there,
i use wine 1.1.20 (with video patch and registry settings)
the game install and start fine, no problem in menus either.
my problem is that the game freeze only in some area, for example, near some
doors (but not every doors).
i enter some house, i realise this is not the house i wanted to go, i decide to
go back so i do a 360deg turn with mouselook to go back through the door i just
came from, and the game freeze before i could do my 360deg mouselook
turn-around..
as i said, this doesn't happen for every doors..
right now i'm in grayditch, and i just walked into brandices house.
but i can't get out.. as soon as i get close to their door the game freeze.. i
can still hear music, but nothing else seems to work.. i can't move, look
around, access menu.. nothing..
my only option is to start again from another save point and completely avoid
this house..
i have the same problem with waterplant's door in megaton..
probably with some other doors too, but atm, there's those two i can think of.
someone experienced same problem ? any workaround ?
my system: ubuntu jaunty
gfx card : geforce 9600 gt
nvidia driver: 185.19 (but i have same problem mentioned above with other
driver version too it seems)
wine: 1.1.20 (video patch and registry setting for fallout 3)
fallout: 1.5 (i had same problem with previous version too)
please see attached terminal output
thanks for your attention

That is out of the scope of the Wine project.

Discovered that program I was using to test with needs an additional function.
Found original test program, nasb.exe (an installer from e-Sword), and ran it
against patched 0.9.60 and it worked. I am in the process of building and
testing 0.9.61 (I know it is old, but I'm working my way forward to get the
patch up to the current Wine development version.)

Overlays are used in several instances during gameplay. instead of a

filled with the overlay, mostly white(supposed to be clear) with black
edges(still black). the part of the game that is impossible is the skill
clairvoyance, necessary in solving some puzzles.

Summary: Control appearance: grayed text does not use the "gray
text" color entry
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.27
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dnschneid(a)gmail.com
If this is the same behavior as Windows, then this bug is invalid.
Otherwise, the issue is that in wine configuration -> desktop integration ->
appearance, with the default wine theme, gray text seems to be using the
"shadow" color instead of the "gray text" color.
I ran into this issue when trying to make wine apps look like mist; setting the
shadow color to the control background color so that there's only one pixel of
shadow (the dark shadow color) makes all grayed text blend into the background.
To reproduce: set "shadow" to a funky color, and see the grayed text on the
same window change colors. Change "gray text" and watch nothing change...
Related, "window background" seems to change the background of active controls
like text boxes, whereas "control background" changes the main window
background. This, however, has a higher chance of being a proper simulation of
windows.

Summary: Cant get app to work with or without DirectX
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.28
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: blocker
Priority: P2
Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: joelfespinoza(a)msn.com
I'm trying to make the jump from XP to Linux but im brand new at this so please
bear with me.
Im trying to get the game "Wizard 101" to work on with WINE. It would simply
not draw any of the characters with the normal install of WINE, Draws
everything else fine, backgrounds, other animated objects etc but NOTHING for
player toons or bad guys etc (or anything else 3D looking). I couldn't find any
way to run it in OpenGL, so I tried installing DirectX.
Now I finally have DirectX installed. When I start the dxdiag.exe it gives me a
message that there was a problem accessing Direct3D and gives me the option to
bypass it. If I dont bypass it it freezes up and gives this message:
"The program dxdiag.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
This can be caused by a program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check
http://appdb.winehq.org for tips about running this application.
If this problem is not present under Windows and has not been reported yet, you
can report it at http://bugs.winehq.org."
If I bypass it everything else seems to work just fine in the dxdiag, except
there is no music which I could care less about. Now the game just freezes up
when I try to run it.
I would like to find a way to run this game by either getting DirectX to work
or without DirectX if there is some way to do that I missed.
Im using Wine 1.28, Ubuntu 9.04 and directx_mar2009_redist.exe.
Wierd things that happened while trying to get DirectX installed under WINE if
that helps.
-ddraw.dll was missing when I installed DirectX so I copied it over from my XP
install.
-Was giving the error:
"Please set registry key hklm\software\microsoft\.netframework\installroot to
point to the .net framework install location"
When trying to install DirectX. I found another install guide that had me copy
extra files first and that went away. Guide is here->

forum was to file a bug report, so here it is. By the way myAC is an anti-cheat
program for the Counter Strike game.
I have the latest version of Wine and I'm using Ubuntu - Hardy Heron

Summary: Java Throws a NoClassDefFoundError when attempting to
run Maple 11
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: johannes.blaschke(a)gmail.com
The following error appears when attempting to run Maple 11 from the console:
Error occurred during initialization of VM
java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object
Sorry, no further info available; Maple is not Open source. Suspect though that
the problem lies in the Maple launcher when it encounters java as it makes a
visible attempt to start (and then disappears shortly after stating "loading").
Classic Maple which does not use Java works fine! This also uses the same
launcher, so the non-clasic version of maple must crash at the point where the
launcher attempts to run java.

1) Running PES with fglrx drivers on r3xxx
Those are some reports after testing the free-downloadable demo of PES 2008
under wine.
The game installs well and runs if well configured as mentioned in Application
DB (briefly enabling "UseGLSL" and setting an audio engine), but it has some
problems in some hardware I think:
1) Running it with ATi fglrx drivers (free radeon ones aren't usable at all) on
my rv350 card (mobility radeon 9700) there are resolution errors (if I set it
to 640x480 the size is something like 400x450).
See attachment for a shot.
2) In some cards (nvidia from my tests) it freezes while loading some textures
(both in menus and/or in game) with these errors (tracked on low/medium/high
quality runs):
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x7e8aee90 "d3d9_main.c: d3d9_cs"

Complete logs are attached.
A workaround to this problem is setting "OffscreenRenderingMode" Direct3D
setting to "fbo"
3) Using fbo OffscreenRenderingMode some scenes (Replays, Corners,
GoalKicks...) can't be seen using Medium or High quality (no problems using low
quality, instead). Durning these moments, in fact, I can see only a light-blue
screen with a small square in, showing a part of the game.
Some relevant (I think) logs are:
err:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_Reset Cannot change the back buffer format yet
err:x11settings:X11DRV_ChangeDisplaySettingsEx No matching mode
found(1280x800x32)! (XRandR)

fixme:d3d_surface:read_from_framebuffer >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_ENUM
(0x500) from glReadPixels @ surface.c / 526
You can see the attached shot for understanding in a better way.
4) Freezes on closing: when exiting from PES the screen becomes black, but the
application doesn't terminate (it seems an audio problem, since util I kill the
process my sound-card emets a vibrant sound).
Sorry but I can't take a log...
6) Gamepads can't be used inside the game... Also if wine finds my pads (and
they works with other games [i.e. FIFA 08]), I can't use them in menus.
I don't know if this is a wine or PES bug btw...

dinput: The DIK_ keycode is not the same as the scancode.
It is mapped with the keyboard mapping to the resulting character so
the key 'A' is DIK_A nomatter what its scancode or vkey would be. This
is relevant to Japanese keymapping where the '@' key is in the '['
location the scancode for both is 0x22 but dinput generates DIK_AT in
japanese and DIK_LBRACKET in us_qwerty.

ReportedBy: lightning_uk(a)imgburn.com
v2.5.0.0 of ImgBurn has a new Advanced build mode interface known as the 'Disc
Layout Editor'.
Any 'rename' of an item you add/create within the listview on the right side of
that window will result in a range check error.
If you right click an entry in the treeview on the left side of that window and
select 'New Folder' it'll crash with an access violation.
If you open the window at all (as in, 'full stop' and not even doing anything
with it) and then close the program, it'll crash with an access violation.
I'm unable to reproduce any of these issues on any real installation of Windows
(from Windows 95 -> Windows 7) so I can only assume it's something in Wine
(sorry!).

Using Wine 1.1.27, I saw in a +winsock log that it's trying to listen on port
950 instead of 77, so I suspect this may be working. Could you try with Wine
1.1.28 or later?

Previous remark about still failing was my own fault: I'd set up the
installation floppy images incorrectly.
Installation of VB3.0 under Wine now (version 1.1.27, may well be on earlier
ones, too) works fine. For what it's worth, the program also seems to run fine
under 1.1.28.

As far as I can see, '$shtdwn$.reg' is not prefixed with a dot or anything, so
that can't be the problem here... Right?

The problem is the installer expects the file to be hidden, in the Windows way,
e.g., not a '.', but given the hidden attribute, which Wine does not support.

You said:

I thought this was the way Wine does it now :)
What about this: Wine gets (for case insensitivity) a solution like ciopfs: all
files are stored in lower case, and then Wine keeps a database file (sqlite or
so?) containing the original filename and other non-ext properties, like
whether they are hidden. Using SQLite, it wouldn't be too slow; Wine doesn't
need to read all files in the directory since the files are lowercase.
It only needs to search if the lowercase file does not exist, in which case it
does search and if it finds a file, it renames it to lowercase and adds it to
the database to speed up future searches; this is necessary to merge from older
Wine versions. This solution will only be noticeably slow when an application
continuously asks for a non-existent file; and it will be just as slow as the
old Wine solution. It will also be backwards compatible, only older versions of
Wine will not return the original filename but the lower case one (since they
search the whole directory anyway).
Any objections, except that SQLite support is needed?

> Any objections, except that SQLite support is needed?
You forgetting that Wine doesn't have it's own FS. Nothing prevents a program
outside of Wine to copy a file into "C:".
Also what about the rest of the root file system (/)?
This can only be supported for files created from within Wine. The actual
attributes can be stored in the special hidden file in the same directory
(preferred) or the globally (not portable).

That's only a real problem as far as that program only writes lowercased
files... I think that's an acceptable thing, isn't it?
> Also what about the rest of the root file system (/)?
It would just work like wine works now; readdir() I guess. :)
> This can only be supported for files created from within Wine. The actual

Ok. I agree the main flaw in the idea (the fact that from outside wine, the
case insensitivity isn't enforced) makes it a no-go. I could implement this
special hidden file support (or even generally, extra file flag support) in
Wine, but it may take a moment since I'm totally not accustomed to Wine's
source, I've never seen a bit of it.
If there's anything I should read about the plans related to this before I
start, please drop me some links and I'll get coding. (that's apart from the
normal stuff a beginning Wine developer should read, I can find those on my own
;) )
--- Comment #24 from Dan Kegel <dank(a)kegel.com> 2009-07-30 13:40:43 ---
maybe one could use xattr to store a user.wine.hidden
attribute with the file... but Ubuntu doesn't ship with

fly any time soon.

Hello,
--- quote ---
Changing description as suggested by AF to just the hidden file bug,
--- quote ---
better would be to add "online installer" as the full installer (offline)
doesn't need this workaround.

"Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Redistributable" install fails to skip file with
FILE_ATTRIBUTE_HIDDEN, fails

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 online installer (bootstrapper) fails to skip file

You can also drop this from your winetricks dotnet30 verb as you use the full

Roman characters without fail, so this is a app-specific problem.
This bug can easily be reproduced, simply type numbers or special characters
while SCIM-Anthy is active, and Japanese is set as the active language.
Fonts I currently have in /fonts
arial.ttf

Unfortunately, something with upgrading MacOSX to 10.5.7 and installing XQuartz
2.3.3.2 broke the ability for the patch worked on to function properly. I've
reverted to versions that worked, and they are way old. It may be best to
abandon the current work, which was started a long time ago (2006) and move
onto a better resolution of the problem than trying to solve it using brute
force. The author of the program I'm working with has released a completely
new edition and it may not work with Wine at all. I will be looking into this.
I have attached a patch that applies cleanly to 0.9.60 and was working.

err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\Program

unless you run it from
Program Files/Microsoft Visual Studio 8/Common7/IDE/
where that dll was installed.
Copying mspdb80.dll to C:\Windows\system32 works, too.
(Note: cl's output vanishes in wineconsole, so if
you're running it in cmd in wineconsole, you have
to redirect it to a file to see that it's working.)
Could it be that the installer should be setting
some registry variable it's not? Setting 'installer'
keyword on that theory, remove if I'm wrong.
(Naturally, cl failing makes the firefox build procedure fall over.)

It does display with "sh winetricks comctl32 wininet ie6"
The modern skin needs some enlarging for the media library to show up,
In the bento skin it showed up correctly right away for me. (if not for you
enlarge the window)
If you change skin colour, the colours will show but not directly in the left
side of the media library window.
After a "refreshing" (enlarge the window) it shows up correctly.

actually, PDB speed has improved a lot (around 90% for very large files) for
loading into dbghelp a PDB file
but still without using the PDB hashtables, for which #8 still applies
So either, we keep this bug open to remind us about the fact that we don't use
all the information stored in the PDB files, or we close it as the speed for
loading PDB file (even large ones) is now more decent

Actually, the problem described in this bug, complaining about the Windows

opened as bug 11023, so I'll make this a dup of that.

Installation of Total Annihilation original does not run to completion.
An error appears at the end "Could not open readme.txt". Perhaps it is looking
in the wrong place?
The intallation completes for the most part: the game runs. However this bug
has two consequences:
- the start menu icons are not created, so the game has to be launched from the
commandline, and the images are not obviously available anywhere to create
one's own start menu icons (at least: they don't look beautiful)
- the Core Contingency expansion cannot be installed from the setup.exe
provided, because it says that ta is not installed, which can feasibly be
explained by certain registry entries being unavailable, since hte original
installation did not run to completion
This bug is fairly minor: it does not prevent the game being played, and there
are workarounds available (fairly easy once you know / have documented them) to
install core contingency, but on the other hand my gut feeling is it might be
fairly easy to fix, since it could be just a relative path being used where an
absolute path is needed, or some other bug related to paths being joined
together not quite in the way that was intended.
The bug does mean that people may not be able to install Core Contingency
without checking the how-to in the total annihilation database.

So, I've tried a bunch of things to run Guild Wars on my computer (Dell
Inspiron 5150 -- nvidia graphics thingie), and it's not working. Just to start
out, I'm new at all this stuff (just installed ubuntu 9.04). Anyways, I tried
changing the registry values so that it would at least open and play at a
reasonable pace.
However, when Offscreenrenderingmode is set to pbuffer, it crashes right after
I select my character (and yes, I am aware that this problem is very similar to
another bug on there)
BUT
when I set it to fbo, it crashes after I try to enter the world from the town
(i.e. it loads the town fine--getting past the loading part that pbuffer
crashes on--but then when I try to run outside it crashes on THAT loading
screen).
Any thoughts? (or leading questions?)

Summary: Build Wine 1.1.23 from source fails on Red Hat WS 4.6
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: build-env
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: tom.dalton(a)eds.com
I tried to build Wine 1.1.23 from the wine-1.1.23.tar.bz source package.
'configure' and 'make depend' seemed to work ok. The regular 'make' then fails
when trying to build the dll .so files.
Looks like a bug in winegcc or winebuild, that isn't handling the resource file
parameters properly.

Summary: DirectInput axis mapping does not work
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.23
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: directx-dinput
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: simotsa(a)gmail.com
According to http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulRegistryKeys, it is possible to map
axis by creating a registry key in HKCU\Software\Wine\DirectInput.
Using the following command,
WINEDEBUG="+dinput" wine program.exe 2>&1 | grep joydev_enum_device
I can obtain the name of my joystick, which is "USB Joystick USB
Joystick " in my case. I wanted to map axis 2 and 3 to axis 0 and 1.
So I tried adding the following key:
"USB Joystick USB Joystick "="rX,rY,X,Y,Rz,Z"
To verify where the mapping worked, I ran the following command:
WINEDEBUG="+dinput" wine program.exe 2>&1 | grep "changing axis"
and it returned:
changing axis 0 => 0
changing axis 1 => 1
changing axis 2 => 2
changing axis 3 => 3
changing axis 4 => 4
changing axis 5 => 5
In the other word, axis mapping does not work.

Single-Sign-On with authenticated RPC-Clients in a domain joined environment
won't work with Wine version 1.1.23. The culprit is the two latest changes to
ntlm.c which were at least in part based on wrong information given from my
side to Kai. The latest working version for this scenario is "2009-02-16
Alexandre Julliard secur32: Properly initialize the helper structure when... ".
If that version of the file is built together with Wine version 1.1.23, RPC
clients running under Wine using the ncacn_tcpip protocol sequence can
successfully authenticate against an RPC server on a Windows box. So if
possible, please revert this file to this version (the two latest changes made
by Kai were made because it took us a while to find out that rpc clients
running on Wine work only without "signing-and-sealing").

Dragon NaturallySpeaking (all versions -- mine is 10 Standard) makes use of a
DictationBox to enter text.
The DictationBox's default text size is small and hard to read. The
DictationBox contains a tool to change the text size to any font available in
wine, but the tool does not work.
This tool never has worked, i.e., this is not a regression.

And it seems to exist since a quite long time: at least since 9.61

only available to the terrorist fraction, and if the bullets strike another
players body.

wininet already supports proxy connections but winhttp does not, causing Google

It seems like the remaining complaint is that Wine's iexplore does not
automatically pick up the Gnome/KDE proxy settings, which are set via the
http_proxy environment variable. Wine's iexplore uses mshtml, which only reads
the registry, not the environment. Setting component to mshtml. I'll have
patches shortly for it.

Patch to properly null terminate
According to MSDN http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms221069.aspx the
BSTR string should be null terminated. SLTG_ReadString is not doing so as the
strings being read are not themselves null terminated and are read based on the
length. It causes the string length somehow to be misunderstood by
applications.
The attached screenshots show OLE Viewer from Visual Studio 6 showing a
TypeInfo header: one in Wine and the other on Windows.
The attached patch (against latest git) fixed the problem for me. It also fixes
another chunk of similar code.

Hi,
Where can I find the guidelines for designing and/or contributing icons for
Wine, particularly for shell32? Since I know very little C/C++ this might be
one area where I can contribute.
I would have suggested this before, but I knew that everyone's busy getting the
basics done in time for Wine 1.0, and of course, functionality and bug fixes is
understandably more important than artwork. Now that a stable version has been
released, I think this might be a good time to work on the look and feel.
Regards,
Bamm

I'm running an app under wine which otherwise runs without crashing (both under
1.1.27 and natively), except when I preface "wine my-app.exe" with
"WINEDEBUG=+snoop" on the command line.
I found this originally by specifying "WINEDEBUG=+all wine my-app.exe" but
narrowed the crash down to just "+snoop".
By crashing I mean that I get the nice "Program Error" dialog box that contains
the text "This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in
Wine..."
I am currently runing 1.1.27. I have not tried previous versions after 1.0.1.
It does appear that the app crashes (unhandled exception) under 1.0.1, but runs
fine natively.
The app in question is Full Tilt Poker (http://www.fulltiltpoker.com).
I'd normally include the log, but it's about 960Mb at the point where the crash
occurs. Wine does not exit after closing the dialog box.
As this only affects tracing/debugging, it may not be the highest priority bug
-- except that I've noticed in Bugzilla that one of the developer requests is
to have +snoop turned on sometimes, which could complicate debugging.
