Release 1.1.9 no longer locks up when crossing boundaries
outdoors. Instead, the image briefly blanks out and flips upside down
for one frame. Should this problem be addressed in this bug ticket or
in a new one?

Unbelievable. The patch fixed it 100%; played for two hours perfectly today.
I understand why it can't be applied to trunk (specific game bug) but it should
be seriously considered, unless it breaks anything else. Perhaps have a 'hacks'
wine, if we're worried about bugging up the code.

Summary: running ./configure on ubuntu 8.10 64-bit gives an
error.
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.9
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED

ReportedBy: noliamhere(a)hotmail.com
I am running ubuntu 8.10 intrepid ibex amd64.
I have downloaded the source code of the latest version, 1.1.9.
Before I tried to compile it, I did:
sudo apt-get install build-essential
sudo apt-get build-dep wine
However, when I ran ./configure in the source directory, this error came up:
configure: error: FreeType development files not found.
Fonts will not be built. Dialog text may be invisible or unaligned.
Use the --without-freetype option if you really want this.
So I thought, maybe I need to file a bug about the list of needed dependencies
ubuntu has for wine, and typed in:
sudo apt-get install libfreetype6-dev
However, this returned:
libfreetype6-dev is already the newest version.
So why isn't wine configure picking it up? I can install wine .deb packages and
they work fine, so I will just wait a few days 'till 1.1.9 becomes available in
the packages archive. Still, I think it's a pretty sever bug if one can't
compile the source on the 64-bit version of the most popular distro around.

I have a test that shows what I said above, but the reason I think it's
incorrect is, what looks like a bad parameter could be a near pointer?
Since this is a win32 app using a win16 message, the tabs parameter which looks
like an int in 32bit could really just be the offset to be used with a
selector?
Even though the type of the tabs parameter is LPINT, is it possible that
windows accepts a PINT as well?
I don't know much about win32 <-> win16 interop, but I'm guessing some sort of
thunk is required if this is true. Need to either write a testcase for this
theory or debug the app more intensively.

oprofile output and analysis
I'm a developer of a utility called osm2pgsql which parses the XML map data
produced by the OpenStreetMap project. Normally this tool runs on Linux but I
recently compiled a version for Windows using MinGW and ran it with Wine as a
test. It ran, but was very slow.
The execution time for the application is about 90 seconds for the Linux native
version vs 78 minutes with the Windows binary executing under Wine. A user has
reported that it takes about 5 minutes to run natively on Windows but I do not
know what hardware that was and have not measured it myself.
Running oprofile identified HEAP_FindSubHeap() as being responsible for over
75% of the CPU total usage. The application allocates memory for lots of small
objects and strings so a large number of calls to malloc/free is to be
expected, but not the slow performance.
This may ultimately be a duplicate of bug 9263 but I figured this may be an
interesting data point for you. It looks like optimising the linear list search
in HEAP_FindSubHeap may be a useful performance win for Wine.
I'll attach the oprofile output. If you are interested in this as a test case
then I can probably produce a simplified standalone executable exhibiting the
same behaviour.

Summary: Clicking close button in Word 2003 closes the window but
not the program in 1.1.8
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.8
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: user32
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dimesio(a)earthlink.net
Tested on a clean wineprefix in 1.1.8, openSUSE 10.3.
To reproduce:
1. Start Word 2003 in windowed mode.
2. Open a saved document.
3. Close the document.
4. Click the close program button in the upper right hand corner of the window.
The window will close.
5. Check running processes--Word will still be running.
This only happens under these specific circumstances. It does not happen in a
virtual desktop, when exiting the program from the file menu, if you do not
open a saved document, or if you have a document still open when you click the
close button.

Summary: ChangeWindowMessageFilter is not implemented

ReportedBy: sunfish7(a)gmail.com
CC: sunfish7(a)gmail.com
This bug is blocking me from migrating Vista's Speech Assistant to Linux via
Wine.
I have chronicled my entire endevour on the url supplied
(http://womblezone.blogspot.com/)
Specifically this command fails...
spud@spud-laptop:~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/Speech/SpeechUX$ wine
regsvr32 ./SpeechUX.dll
... with the terminal error:
wine: Call from 0x4b4775ab to unimplemented function
USER32.dll.ChangeWindowMessageFilter, aborting
(Note I've had to import SpeechUX.dll from Vista - I'm preserving the folder
structure)
If you can implement ChangeWindowMessageFilter, I am grateful. If you can
successfully port Speech Assistant (or assist me in so doing), I am forever in
your debt.
I'm filing this as Major, as it is blocking me from what I consider important
work on behalf of the FOSS community (namely to provide them with a Speech
Recognition Engine), and notably the injured/disabled sector of this community.
Please keep me in the loop. I have experience coding C, C++, WinAPI and some
understanding of kernel architecture. I hope I can be of use.

I am trying to install a 16bit program named "Primavera P3 3.1". this app works

wine.
I believe with very minor tweaking it will work under wine too.

unimplemented function advapi32.dll.LsaSetSecret, aborting
Vitamin told me in the winehd forums to file in a bug.
I quote "It should be easy to implement this function without encrypting

I hope so.

In order to display the system menu of a window that belongs to a different
process, the Windows taskbar sends the undocumented message 0x313 to the window
with the following parameters:
wparam = always 0 (changing it seems to make no difference)
lparam = MAKELONG(x,y), where x and y are screen coordinates where the menu

I've found that sending this message on Windows does cause a window to display
its system menu.
WM_POPUPSYSTEMMENU is a popular name for it according to Google.

ReportedBy: john.moonsugar(a)gmail.com
So far this only happens when I play the game Morrowind.
While in the game, running in full-screen, I use a window-manager(sawfish)
function to switch to a firefox browser window. At this point I often
experience difficulties in the browser within seconds to minutes of switching,
manifesting itself as losing the ability to do any mouse/keyboard input, as if
wine has stolen input focus without the game raising itself to the top. If I
switch back to the game at this point, everything is fine. I can switch back
again to the browser and continue to work, until the input problem happens
again. It's like something is reset by switching back to the game.
Now, if I leave the browser window on top, in the time it takes to go make a
cup of coffee my system will often enter into an abnormal state, the symptoms
of which are that when I try to do anything in the browser, it starts to work,
as evidenced sometimes by the little "wait" mouse pointer change, but then my
entire system locks up, I can't even log in from a remote system and I have to
reboot. There is nothing in my syslog.
The system freeze could well be a driver problem, I don't know how to find out.
I strongly suspect that the input problems are Wine though. And the 2 problems
seem related.
I feel pretty confident I can reproduce it at will, so if there's any more
debugging or instrumentation I can do on my part to shed light on the cause,
I'd be happy to try.
Here's some info about my system:

When installing WebEngine Version V200N you get the message
"http://download.virtualmechanics.com/download/install/webenginev2/200N/WebE…
is not trusted"
To reproduce this error download the installer program
http://download.virtualmechanics.com/download/install/webenginev2/200N/Setu…
and run it with wine. It will then bring up a dialog box showing you that it is
downloading WebEngineV200N.msi. Upon completion of this download ( ie the
WebEngineV200N.msi is downloaded and placed in the directory
~/.wine-080415/drive_c/windows/profiles/[yourusername]/Local Settings/Temporary
Internet Files/Content.IE5/4Z83EH3Z/WebEngineV200N.msi
A dialog appears with the following message "Windows Installer Installation
Wrapper" Installation Failed,
http://download.virtualmechanics.com/download/install/webenginev2/200N/WebE…
is not trusted.
So the focus of this bug report is the fact the program reports that a
site/file is not trusted.
As the msi successfully downloaded ( odd, since the site was not trusted ) you
can try installing it by typing
msiexec /i WebEngineV200N.msi
Now on my system it fails with another error. However as that's a separate bug
I'll create a new bug report for that.

Source files of a wxWidgets project
wxDev-C++ installs and works flawlessly until I tried to compile the project
using MinGW, witch came bundled with wxDev. It compiles the individual files
with no problems, but fails somewhere in the linker or while making the exe.
The error is:
C:\Proyecto\Makefile.win [Build Error] exe: ***
[Objects/MingW/Proyecto_1_private.res] Error -1073741819
(Proyecto 1 is the project's name)
There is no Proyecto_1_private.res in the Objects/MingW folder, but i have no
clue of the reason of this.
Running wxDev from the terminal, appears this error, at the same time the
compiler fails:
wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000000 at address 0x7ee153de
(thread 0021), starting debugger...
The same project compiles with no problem in Windows XP, using the same version
of wxDev.
I am using Ubuntu 8.04 (in spanish) and wine 0.9.61
wxWidgets can be downloaded for free from:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/wxdsgn/wxdevcpp_6.10.2_setup.exe?modtime=1…
I attached an example of a wxWidgets project, which compiles perfectly under
Windows XP, but fails under wine.
To reproduce the crash:
-Install wxDev-C++ with defaults options
-Run wxDev-C++, go to File -> Open Project o File... and open EjemploFrm.dev
-Build and compile the project (go to Execute -> Rebuild All)

patch against comctl32 for the setpos bug
The SetPos() function of the trackbar component of comctl32 is calling the
OnCustomDrawMessage even if it doesn't change the value.
This wouldn't be a problem per se, but in my application I was doing a setFocus
inside the oncustomdraw, as well as doing the setpos in a timer.
This caused all the buttons in the UI to not operate, because the timer took
precedence, and the focus no longer kept at the supposed place.
I've already fixed this in my application (since i can do the check), but could
affect other applications.
I attach the patch that i've tested which solves it.

Hello.
I have previously filed a bug about Mathematica not being able to install:

And this same bug in one report which will be marked as invalid:
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11765
The error of this report is:
- Opening the Help Browser makes it crash after generating the help data.
Mathematica has a really usefull help browser, and it is a key feature. One can
not know what or how Mathematica can do its stuff without this, so unless you
are a complete expert on Mathematica, it will not be usefull for anyone.
Wine debug outputs of this is on the second attached file.
All this errors were tested on ubuntu 7.10 AMD64 and with wine 0.9.55 (becouse
.56 is not available yet for ubuntu on your repos) and with all builtin dlls,
but also some natives does the same results.
It is only one of other errors of Mathematica.
I couldnt upload the logs here, so i uploaded it to esnips. Freely
doenloadable.

Terminal output with WINEDEBUG=warn+all
After the fix to create the directory "c:\windows\winsxs\manifests" included in
wine 0.9.44, the problems remaining in bug #9192 were related only just to the
failure to execute the file vcredist_x86.exe during the installation of Enemy
Territory Quake Wars Beta 2.
The installation popups an error window about "cannot execute
C:\\windows\temp\vcredist_x86.exe". That file exists but it was extracted into
the subfolder C:\\windows\temp\WZSE0.TMP\" instead of "C:\\windows\temp\" just
during the winzip self-extract. When the setup program tries to execute the
file vcredist_x86.exe, cannot find it in the correct path.
A workaround is to create a blind symbolic link in Linux BEFORE running the
installation program of Enemy Territory Quake Wars (ETQuakeWarsBeta2Setup.exe)
and after configuring wine to emulate XP:
cd ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/temp ; ln -s WZSE0.TMP/vcredist_x86.exe
This way vcredist_x86.exe is executed without errors during ETQWbeta2
installation, so that manual download and execution is not required anymore.
We need to find the difference with the Windows installation were, I suppose,
this error in the paths does not occur. Maybe, I guess, the current directory
(WZSE0.TMP) during the execution of setup.exe is assumed to be included in the
execution path.

oh, I forgot to mention. I tested the behaviour of LB_SETTABSTOPS16 (WM_USER +
19), which is the message that this app sends with an incorrect pointer value.
Windows Vista, XP, 98SE all handle it gracefully returning 0, they do not
SetLastError. Windows 95 crashes.

CDs are able to run. The error message is "No CD/DVD-ROM drive found." Tried
reinstalling wine and each of the aforementioned programs to no avail. But
programs not needing a disk work just fine.

As of Wine 1.1.8, I cannot run the game either. The game tells me that my

the game crashes. I have attached a +relay log of the result, if this can be
useful. I have applied the "Unfinished Business" and "Fix Pack" patches.

The engine has a bug in dlls/winedib.drv/bitblt.c; here the corrected snipped :
-------------------------------------------------
/***********************************************************************
* DIBDRV_StretchBlt
*/
BOOL DIBDRV_StretchBlt( DIBDRVPHYSDEV *physDevDst, INT xDst, INT yDst,
INT widthDst, INT heightDst,
DIBDRVPHYSDEV *physDevSrc, INT xSrc, INT ySrc,
INT widthSrc, INT heightSrc, DWORD rop )
{
INT i, min_width, min_height;
TRACE("stub %p %d %d %d %d %p %d %d %d %d %d\n", physDevDst, xDst, yDst,
widthDst, heightDst,
physDevSrc, xSrc, ySrc, widthSrc, heightSrc, rop);
min_width = physDevDst->bmp->width - xDst < physDevSrc->bmp->width - xSrc ?
physDevDst->bmp->width - xDst : physDevSrc->bmp->width - xSrc;
min_height = physDevDst->bmp->height - yDst < physDevSrc->bmp->height -
ySrc ?
physDevDst->bmp->height - yDst : physDevSrc->bmp->height -
ySrc;
-------------------------------------------------
x and y were partially swapped, which caused crashes on bitmaps with
non-identical height and whidth.
Btw, blt routines could be optimized, but I'm looking to font and clipping
stuffs before that.
Ciao

volume etc.) work as does leaving the game (this is what the log below shows).
Upon starting a new game it just continues producing fmod errors, hogging 99%
cpu and nothing happens. kill -9 to bsengine.exe is the only way. Waiting too
long crashes konsole at some point (maybe history buffer overflow?).

Please add 'Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10' to the 'Affected Apps'
Implementing this function would allow for using the app far more effectively.

Component: -unknown

ReportedBy: xvachon(a)gmail.com
When I try to install the game, the autorun says that there is no install text,
and it cannot run setup afterwards. I have been told to install msttcorefonts
and freefonts, this is already done and it has not solved the issue. I am not
sure about how to create the appropriate log to reproduce the issue. Tell me if
there is anything else you guys need to know.

Only seconds after Guitar Pro 5 is open, it crashes without any Error message.
With 0.9.61, it worked very well, but since upgrade, it crashes.
Maybe it's an audio problem : Winecfg crashes when I tested the sound in the
Audio Tag.

Summary: Expected vertex samplers + MAX_TEXTURES(=8) on GF9600GT
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.8
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: bogdanb+bugs.winehq.org(a)gmail.com
On a GeForce 9600GT wine always warns that:
fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_FillGLCaps OpenGL implementation supports 32 vertex
samplers and 32 total samplers
fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_FillGLCaps Expected vertex samplers + MAX_TEXTURES(=8) >
combined_samplers
This comes from dlls/wined3d/directx.c (~line 900 in the 1.1.8 sources).
There's a largish comment there that explains why this is triggered, but I'm
not sure I understand it. I volunteer to help fixing the problem if someone is
willing to coach me a bit.

Summary: Mouse is not mapped correctly in Populous: the Beginning
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.8
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: directx-dinput
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: Rincebrain(a)gmail.com
In Populous: The Beginning, the game crashes if I attempt to run it without
emulating a virtual desktop. Fine.
I run it in a virtual desktop, and it runs "correctly" - but the mouse mapping
is incorrect. I can cover a portion of the screen in the "desktop" with my
mouse, but the mapping between where my mouse is inside of the virtual desktop
and where it is in reality appears to be wrong - my mouse moves out of the
right side of the virtual desktop when the cursor in the in-game window appears
to be approximately in the middle of the screen.
The same behavior appears vertically, which means that I cannot access ~3/4 of
the screen area.
This bug occurs in using the D3D-accelerated version of the binary. Using the
non-D3D accelerated form of the binary, the game maps the input correctly
[though it requires that I set MouseWarpOverride to "disable", lest the mouse
cursor be stuck in the center of the screen].

It was a problem a few Wine versions ago; I can test Wine 1.1.8, but I don't
think anything has changed.
Using OpenGL rendering makes the problem go away, but that didn't work for
Intel cards last time I checked.

Is this still an issue in current (1.1.8 or newer) wine? You could try seeing
if the DIB engine helps (bug 421).

I've also tried FlashFXP 3.4.0 (build 1145) and the latest version, FlashFXP
3.6.0 (build 1240). In this two versions FlashFXP does not hang up any more,
after getting the Directory List, but it doesn't show the content - only the
"Folder Up" Icon is visible.
...
If you cannot see any content in flashFXP you cannot download / upload / fxp
data between two hosts. So the program is still not useable with wine )':
As I wrote in comment #14 old FlashFXP versions are useable (the folder content
is shown correct), but as they do not support encryption and other useful
things they are at the moment no alternative.
kind regards, Alois

I was under the impression that newer versions didn't show this bug, per

As the actual version still did not work it should not be necessary to search
old versions. If you need I will search my archive, I think I have still old
demoversions of FlashFXP here.
If necessary I can make a small testinstallation with recent wine-version and
recent FlashFXP, but if the next answer will be as long as this reaction I will
not test, my time is also restricted. ):

Summary: game window disappears from window list, game keeps
working somewhere
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.8
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: bogdanb+bugs.winehq.org(a)gmail.com
Hi!
My machine: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, 4GB RAM, GeForce 9600GT/1GB RAM. Running
Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid) for x86_64. I'm running Wine 1.1.8, compiled by yours
truly with the patches bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=17157 and
bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=17130 --- and I'm running Fallout3 with it.
I got everything working decently, using the instructions from
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=14322 (see my
comments there as bogdanb). I get occasional crashes, but I don't notice any
error output related to them.
I was surprised to see Compiz almost works with it: I can start the
game in full-screen, then I can twist the desktop cube, cover-flip
applications, activate expo, transparency, and it actually works, with
the Fallout3 window updating and everything.
When I switch windows I can see an entry for a "Fallout3" window in the
the task-bar (complete with a little pip-boy icon). However, if I keep
doing whatever I'm doing (flipping between windows or desktops, and
generally doing things outside the fallout window), at some point* the
Fallout window disappears, both from the screen and from the window list
(task-bar, alt-tab menu, cover-flip). I can hear the game sounds
continuing, so it doesn't completely crash, it just goes hidden
somewhere. But when it's working, the effects are totally crazy fun.
(*: I've written this entire report with the Fallout window (full screen) in
the
background, turned semi-transparent, and with the browser window above
it, also transparent (and with blur enabled), and it keeps working, so
it's very close to being perfect. The window only disappears when I play
with window/desktop switching, but then it only takes a few flips.)
It would be very cool if we got this working correctly, so please let me know
how I can help track down the bug.

Sorry. I've been quite busy and haven't used my USB adapter for the past year

When I get a chance, I will test and re-open if need be. But I'm guessing,
it's probably fixed since it may have been a trivial issue between versions.

SimTower crash on 1.1.8
Installing in 1.1.8, I got the same "Unable to open DDE communication" messages
mentioned in comment 11. I had to kill the installer, but the game was
successfully installed by that time.
The game seems to run fine in a virtual desktop so long as sound is not turned
on. Saving and opening files works fine. In windowed mode, the game freezes at
the splash screen. I did not get the message about sound reported in comment 9;
the game just started up without sound. Turning sound on through the options
menu in the game itself causes it to crash (log attached).

Summary: Starcraft: Does not recognize CD when it is mounted

Product: Wine
Version: 1.0.0
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: brian.s.croom(a)gmail.com
(Note: I am aware that Starcraft can now be run without a CD, but I imagine
this issue affects other programs [though not all! see below] so I am
submitting it anyway)
When I loop-mount the Starcraft CD with the normal mount method (superuser
required!) everything works fine. However if I instead use fuseiso
(https://sourceforge.net/projects/fuseiso/) the game complains about missing
the CD. Both were tested being mounted to the same directory, and confirmed
that in each case the files on CD were accessible through the same "dosdevice".
Clues:
- The regularly mounted image appears as type "iso9660" in /etc/mtab, while
with fuseiso it is type "fuse.fuseiso"
- in the Wine file browser the regularly mounted image as type "CDFS", while
the fuseiso mount as type "NTFS"
- The Rosetta Stone language software is happy with images mounted either way.
It seems that (1) Starcraft does something (perhaps simply a sanity/security
check) with the disk beyond simply accessing the files, and (2) Wine does not
recognize fuseiso mounts as being CDs. Whether this because fuseiso doesn't
provide some feature/aspect of the iso9660 mount, or just because Wine is
checking for the iso9660 fs type, I don't know.

ALL GAMES by "alawar" work perfectly in windows "xp" but none of them even run

so, on APPDB, my rating would be bronze or garbage for each of those.

It's a bit of an odd one, but here we go:
No mixers are available when using Wine on Gentoo Linux with Wine 1.0 and
previous, but only while using Creative X-Fi drivers version 1.18. Everything
else on the system works fine, but Wine doesn't like these drivers
Wine also works when I compile a different driver for use, such as emu10k1,
intelhd, or whatever.
Tell me what I need to do and I'll come up with the data so we can figure out
if the driver or Wine is missing something to detect these mixers.

Hi,
I tried to start the Sacrifice Demo, I get the screen were I can select which
device and driver I want to use, after that, the game crashes and I get the
output following, but first I have to say, that
I believe its a driver bug of the proprietary ati-drivers, because it started
up with my nvidia card (and drivers).
But I'm not sure. Maybe it can be fixed easy with wine.
The output:

Emachineshop uses pure opengl to draw 2D and 3D graphics (loaddll trace shows
opengl32.dll, but not d3d* or ddraw*), but all the graphics is garbled. The
graphics areas in the application seem to show display memory contents from a
random address.
No error messages or crashes are triggered and the application works otherwise
perfectly, as far as one can tell. This seems to be a bug in an existing
implementation and not a lack of implementation.
I tested in Ubuntu Hardy with Intel 855GM graphics chip. Linux Opengl
applications work fine.

I have been asked to upgrade to 0.9.60 for testing bugs I reported in 0.9.59.
The Wine website states the packages have been released for Ubuntu 8.04 and
provides instructions on downloading them. However this package does not
appear to exist yet! I would attribute this to the fact that 8.04 was only
released yesterday and so building the package started later than usual for a
wine release, but the website seems to indicate it should be out already!
http://www.winehq.org/site/download-deb has the user execute the command under
Ubuntu 8.04:
sudo wget http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/sources.list.d/hardy.list -O
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/winehq.list
However http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/sources.list.d/hardy.list does not
exist on the server.
After looking at other files in the directory and obtaining the package servers
for previous Ubuntus, one could guess the sources.list entries to be:
deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt hardy main
deb-src http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt hardy main
However again we get missing file errors if we attempt to apt-get update since
there is no /debs/hardy on the server.
I can understand if the package is not available yet but the website would seem
to state that it is! IMO the instructions should not be updated for a new
distro versuib until a wine package is available for it.

This is working in Wine 0.9.48.
Installator of IE6 says just after start, that newer version of IE is
installed, and doesen't allow to follow installation.
This is caused by too hi version of IE in registry
(Software\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer\\Version) - the version in Wine is
6.0.2900.2180 while the version of IE6SP2 is 6.0.2800.1106 (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_explorer_6#Extended for information about
versions). If the version is set lower, than 6.0.2800.1106, the installator
starts normally.
(I hope, that no regression testing is needed as the cause is clear)

Summary: Photoshop CS2, changing image windows focus.
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.59.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: rylleman(a)gmail.com
When changing selected image window by clicking on it's header-bar Photoshop
does not recognise the change and the previously active image is still the
active one.
Doing something within the new image changes focus, can be clicking the image
info bar or on the rulers so you don't accidently alter the image.

While surfing the AppDB entry for GTA Vice City
(http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=1369), I
found a link at the bottom of the page stating "Move child objects".
I clicked on it and found out that the URL contains a parameter sTitle, which
apparently sets the page title and can be set to any text I think of.
Good news is that obvious Javascript does not work, but I think it'd be easy
for a pro to develop a working XSS exploit.

Severity: enhancement

It seems people regularly type in version numbers wrong. For example there are
test reports for Joost 0.10.4 and 0.10.4 and 0.12. This is interesting, since
the latest version is 0.10.2.
Obviously the one for 0.12 was intended for 0.10.2. I am not sure what version
was intended as 0.10.4. It seems there is no way to correct the version
numbers in these reports.
