I used native riched20, riched32, msftedit on wine and the bug was still present. The bug was also not present on Windows XP with native and Wine's riched20, riched32, and msftedit dlls. Perhaps a separate issue should be open for this bug. I think it would be a user32 bug. I did notice that calling InvalidateRect with a NULL rect causes the scrollbar to be redrawn in Windows XP but not in Wine. Downloadable here: http://www.jkhub.net/library/index.php/Tools:ZED The problems that I'm having is that an options called Map Settings (accessed from Tools menu or F4 hotkey) isn't working. Also, a window called the 3D Preview (accessed from Tools menu or F12 hotkey) doesn't work as expected. I know that Direct3D is not implememnted yet, but even at OpenGL there are problems. The display options I have are Direct3D RM, Direct3D IM, OpenGL. Sub Options (Direct3D device) are Direct3D HEL and HAL (same on all 3). I select OpenGL HEL because that is the one that gives me a stable image. If I try HAL the image flickers and goes black. All others give an External exception error 80000100. During the OpenGL HEL display, I can move around the little level, but the 3D objects (player/walkplayer) aren't displayed. I can however, select him but not by clicking in the direction where he should be. The Lan button does nothing when clicked. Using the native dplay dlls, creating the dll overrides, and using regsvr32 to register them etc. What does work is if you install MS directX 9 using winetricks <url>http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks</url> Taking the system32 directory from a wine which has been 'fixed' with DirectX 9, and pasting it into a standard wine install does not correct the issue. Even when the overrides are added and all dp* dlls have been reregistered with regsvr32. It appears to me that registry keys are added by the official DX9 installer which AoW2 and AoW2SM require.
