[Bug 926] - Diablo II does not run at all with wine

http://bugs.winehq.com/show_bug.cgi?id=926 ------- Additional Comments From Speeddymon(a)yahoo.com 2002-10-14 13:55 ------- hmm, that didnt get formatted right either, lets try with a different browser: hmm, I am able to get windows opened, i just cant get it to start now, if I load Diablo II.exe (uncracked version) it asks me for the original CD, and if I run the DLoad.exe (cracked version to not need the CD) it gives me this error: fixme:ntdll:NtOpenProcessToken (0xffffffff,0x00000028,0x406f28d4): stub fixme:advapi:LookupPrivilegeValueW ((null),L"SeDebugPrivilege",0x66f01824): stub fixme:ntdll:NtAdjustPrivilegesToken (0x0000cafe,0x00000000,0x66f01820,0x00000000,(nil),(nil)),stub! err:virtual:NtAllocateVirtualMemory called with wrong alloc type flags (08001000) ! and in the Desktop window (i have Desktop=800x600 on) i get a box saying: Error establishing API Hooks I have tried winver win2k, nt40, and win98 in the config file... I could start the game, enter login, connect with the server and generally paly. Interaction with items (menus, list boxes) was slow and painful, and music didn't play, but on the whole it was sucessful. I have other issues but they will be part of new bugs once I experiment a bit with dll's etc. However, with transgamings cvs of Oct 14, 02 the status remains unchanged. The same holds true for codeweavers preview release 7? that I tried a few weeks ago. Notes under Wine does not see any printers available - using cupsys

Hello I have tried two daily deb's from October 1st and October the 13th and while I am using Lotus Notes (the only windows app I run). If I go to print dialog and try selecting a printer it says no printers available. I am using a cupsys server and the client from debian woody packages. I have configured it correctly and can print normally from linux native apps through my cupsys server. I have read in wine documenatition that cupsys printers are automatically detected but Notes keeps saying there are no printers available. Since I am pretty new I am a bit lost in the line of investigating this problem. Can anyone confirm me is this is a bug and how to solve it? Or if I need to add anything or erase anything from the wine config file? Running with with default options does not give any usefull error related to a printing error. any options I can use to help you guys know what is my problem? Wine needs to be killed and restarted to continue. In the bug list, I saw the same errors associated with: reminder 99 lotus notes ...by other users. Wine build 20021007 from the SuSE 8.1 pre-compiled .rpm file linked to from winhq.com. My O/S is clean install of SuSE 8.1.
