--- Comment #12 from schmuddelkind@yahoo.de 2010-08-19 05:47:20 --- It is not a bug in Wine but a missconfiguration in the used Linux distributions. A user cannot use a CD-ROM device in Wine, if he has no read access for this device.
To solve the problem, add the user to a group named "cdrom" (Fedora, Ubuntu, SUSE), "optical" (Arch Linux) or similar; log out, log in again, and it should work.
