Even after winetricks wmp10 and manually installing WMP9Codecs.exe [1] wine
cannot seem to find the required codec, at least through ICLocate because the
driver is not registered as a video parser in the same way as indeo/cinepak.

Maybe quartz should use DirectShow registry entries to check that the codec is
available and trigger a different path... I think I never saw I wmv video
working in wine.
