Ok, went on a wild goose chase for a while because of the new security features
of ubuntu broke the game, had to edit this
/etc/sysctl.d/10-ptrace.conf and setting kernel.yama.ptrace_scope to 0

to remove a error that was masking the correct error. Retrying now.
