I can confirm this bug. Saving and reloading does not fix the issue, nor
creating a new planet. I also reinstalled the game after deleting
"$HOME/.wine", but I still have the very same issue.

I have mountains out of nowhere, nests in the water, water monsters eating me
on the land giving me no chance to do anything, animals stuck on spikes...

I use wine 3.16-staging, Fedora 29 x86_64.
My version of Spore is Spore collection, bought on GOG.
