Since I've upgraded to Fedora 16 I realized that many of my games refuse to start in Wine: all the affected games are crashing right after started. Other games are still running fine. All previously working Wine versions now exhibit the problem. This happens with Nvidia drivers 285.05.09 as well as with 290.06. I couldn't revert to Nvidia 280.13 (which was good on F15) because it doesn't support X Server 1.11.x I also tried recompiling Wine with former gcc (4.5.3) but the result was the same.
This bug report is the result of a conversation with jhgf in the Wine IRC channel.
